ch. 18: Peter and Alex

3 years later

"Do we really have to go there?" Alex ask his parents in front of kindergarten.

"Yes honey. It's not big deal. There are other kids and you can play with them and later me and dad are coming to take you home." Steve said.

"But why can't we stay home?" three years old Peter asked.

"Pops and I are working, kiddo. You can't stay home alone." Tony said.

"Can I ask you something?" Peter asked.

"Sure." Steve said.

"Can you come in your Iron man and Captain America suit later." Peter asked.

"Okay, we can menage that. See you later." Steve and Tony waved them as they went to play with other kids.

"So how was your first day? Did you make any friends?" Captain America asked two twin boys.

"Is that Captain America?" few kids said.

"And Iron man. Can we take a selfie? Can I take your autograph?" kids were saying.

Steve and Tony stayed there with kids a half an hour.

"Okay we have to go now." Steve said.

"Alex are they your parents?" one kid asked.

"Yeah, aren't they amazing." Alex said.

"It's so cool."

"Happy mother's day!" Peter and Alex entered their parents bedroom. They were jumping around sleeping Steve while Tony was watching it from the door laughing. Steve wakes up and kiss his children, then he noticed Tony.

"Really Tony?" Steve asked laughing in disbelief and knowing that it was his plan.

"What? They're too cute." Tony said and hug Steve and kiss him on cheek.

"Cuddle timeeee!" Peter said and three of them were on top of Steve, cuddling, tickling and smiling.

"Steve!" Tony yell from living room and Steve came.

"What's going on?" Steve asked.

"Donna... she's... gone." Tony said sitting near unalive dog, almost crying.

"Oh." Steve hug Tony. "How we'll tell kids?"

"We have to tell them somehow." Tony said.

"Let's go." Steve said and take Tony's hand as they went to kids bedroom.

"Hey. Whatcha doin'?" Steve said trying to force a smile but couldn't and tear run from his eye. He remembered little Donna as his Christmas present and all adventures they live through together.

"Pop, why are you crying?" Alex asked.

"Come here!" Tony took Peter and Steve Alex to sit on their lap.

"Donna is gone." Tony said.

"Where?" Peter asked.

"In dog's heaven." Steve said. "Everyone who live will one day pass away and went to heaven or hell."

"Where's that?" Peter asked.

"Heaven is where good people go, and hell where bad people go. You'll understand it when you grew up." Steve said.

"Will she come back?" Alex asked.

"No honey, no one is coming back from there." Tony said.

"I'll miss her." Alex said.

"We all will." Steve said and kiss kids.

Tony spend hours in lab adding new stuffs on his suit and updating his functions. Steve was in gym, training box. He figured out it's already 6 pm and Pepper, Clint, Wanda and Vision will bring soon kids from one day trip with them.

"Honey?" Steve said as he entered Tony's lab.

"Hey." Tony said, "Everything okay?"

"Yeah, uhm..." Steve said hugging him from behind while Tony was still working. "You've been working here all day and kids are coming in hour. Let's have shower together."

"Okay," Tony said, "I'll be up in five minutes, okay?" Steve nodded and kiss him.

"Hey kids, how was your day with aunts and uncles?" Tony said.

"Amazing! We saw big dinosaur!" Alex said.

"Wow!" Tony said.

"Thank you guys for taking them." Steve said.

"It was really funny. See you tomorrow." Pepper said and they went.

"What's for dinner?" Peter asked.

"Pizza." Steve said and they sat around table and eat together.

"What do you say that after dinner we train with your super powers?" Tony asked kids.

"I find out we have to put middle and ring finger down and then web shots." Peter said.

"Okay we're going to the gym and you'll train and after that we can watch movie together." Tony suggested and they agree.
