Place called love

ch. 8: New York

At first, Tony wanted to go to MIT but he find out they have online lectures and he just have to go twice a year to take exams. Steve wanted to go to military academy. He entered NYMA. They both move to Tony's house at Stark tower in New York City.

"Good morning, mr. Stark." doorman said.

Tony nodded. Then someone approach to him. "It seems like you have company, mr. Stark. Should we prepare guest room?"

"It's okay. Steve lives with me." Tony said and they entered elevator for top floor.

"Tony, what's going on with you?" Steve asked in elevator, "You were silent whole travel."

"It's nothing." Tony said.

"Tony, tell me." Steve insisted.

"I'm worried about you." Tony finally said.

"Why?" Steve look at him and elevator stopped.

They were silent again until they entered house. Steve was amazed by sight. Through the glass wall there was visible whole New York City.

"Good morning mr. Stark." some voice said.

Steve was turning around himself to see who's that.

"Hello Jarvis." Tony said, "This is Steve Rogers, my boyfriend. Jarvis is housekeeper. He is robot but he knows everything and he records until I stopped it."

"Hi Jarvis!" Steve said looking around.

"Mr. Rogers, if you need something just ask." Jarvis said.

Steve went to see the view to balcony.

Tony comes from behind and hug Steve, "You like the view?"

Steve nodded, "Yeah, look, there's statue of liberty." he pointed with a finger.

"You've never been in NY before?" Tony asked and Steve shook his head. "Okay, I'll guide you through city tomorrow."

"So, you didn't tell me why you're worried." Steve said and turned to Tony.

"You know, soldiers are all, ya know, different..." Tony try to say but didn't know how.

"I know what's going on. That's because I'm like this. Short, weak and..." Steve said starting crying so Tony interrupt him.

"Sorry Steve, I didn't mean that. I love you. Please, don't cry." Tony said hugging him.

"It's not your fault. My parents reacted the same, but it always was my dream." Steve said.

"Okay. If that is what you want, I'm fine with that." Tony said now.

"I love you." Steve whispered with head on Tony's shoulder.

"I love you too." Tony said.

"This is our bedroom." Tony said.

"Our?" Steve said silently and cough a little.

"Oh, if you want separated rooms, it's okay. I'll just..." Tony started.

"No, no, it's okay." Steve seemed that he didn't know about Tony's little plan.

Few months later

"Tony, I have to talk with you." Steve said serious.

Tony never saw him like that. It must be serious. "Okay." Tony said and sat next to him.

"There is some kind of serum." Steve started.

"Steve..." Tony said.

"Please. Let me finish." Steve said, "It was used before to make like super soldiers, you know, extra strenght etc. So, I would like to apply for testing." Steve said.

"You are not a lab rat, Steve! You don't surely know what could happen." Tony said trying to calm himself but he just gets angrier.

"Tony, calm down!" Steve said holding him. He was shaking now and crying.

"I couldn't bear to lose you." he now said holding Steve tight.

"You won't lose me, but I already decided and I want you to respect my decision." Steve said.

"I just hope that I won't tell you I told you so." Tony said.

"You won't this time." Steve said reassuring him.
