Place called love

ch. 20: It must have been love

"Is dad okay?" Alex asked.

Peter shrugged, "Let's check."

They knocked on the door but no one answered. Then they entered and found Tony crying on bed.

"Dad..." Alex said and hug him.

"It's hard I know but he isn't worthy of our tears. He lose." Peter said.

"I love him. I still love him." Tony barely said through tears. "He didn't even said anything, just left."

They both lay on bed with Tony, on each side of him.

"Promise that you will never leave me." Tony said.

"We promise." Alex said, "You need to get some sleep dad."

Soon Alex and Peter fall asleep, but not Tony. He get up and pour scotch in glass and drink it, then again, then he turn on radio and try to calm himself down. He has to be there for his kids. But then he heard the song.

It must have been love but it's over now.
It must have been good but I lost it somehow.

Then he shot radio with glass what wake up Peter and Alex. Tony run to the toilet and threw up.

"Dad are you okay?" Peter asked.

"Should we call uncle Bruce?" Alex asked.

"No, it's nothing." Tony was drunk. He has stomachache but don't want to worry kids.

"Come on dad, we're taking you to Bruce's lab." Alex said.

They called Pepper to drive them. She couldn't believe what her brother done. Tony lose conscious in car. They bring him to lab.

"Bruce is he okay?" Peter and Alex looked desperate. Pepper went to take them something to eat.

"Your dad... He is..." Bruce said.

"What?" Peter couldn't wait anymore.

"Pregnant." Bruce said.

"What? No!" Peter said.

"He can't... How?" Alex said.

"I don't know, but he almost lose baby because he drink. You guys save them." Bruce said.

"Does he know?" Alex asked.

"He fall asleep so I didn't wanted to wake him up." Bruce said.

"Thank you, Bruce."

"You don't understand, Bruce! I can't keep his baby. I can't!" Tony said.

"You want to abort? That isn't little innocent creature's fault." Bruce said.

"I know. I can't do that... But what if Steve takes baby?" Tony said.

"He can't. He left." Bruce said.

"Who else knows?" Tony asked.

"Your sons." Bruce answered.

*Peter and Alex entered room*

"You can't tell no one else, understand?" Peter, Alex and Bruce agreed.

"You should take your kids. They belong to you." James Barnes said to Steve.

"Yeah." Steve said looking at the same spot as Barnes was giving him needle.

"You know, when I kill Tony's parents..." when Barnes said that Steve was thinking That was you, you made my Tony sad, you took them from him, I could kill you right now. But he couldn't. His heart barely beat and he felt powerless. He felt weak. He couldn't concetrate on what James was saying.

"Anyway, you'll take your kids, however you know!" Barnes said and left Steve in dark room, tied on chear.
