Light In The Dark (A Pack Fanfiction)

Intro- Vikk's POV.

I was sitting at my computer, recording a Minecraft video with the Pack. I was home alone because the rest of the Sidemen had gone out earlier to record a football video for Simon's channel and I didn't feel like going and I really felt like they would tease me for being bad at football. The Pack boys' voice's drifted from the computer into my headset, making me laugh with their utter rubbish. We were recording an episode of Lucky Block Wars and Preston had made it his duty to be annoying as humanly possible.

"Give those back you little jag!!!" Lachlan yelled as Preston snatched the diamonds he had just dropped from the ground. "Never!" Preston screamed, running away between some trees on the map. Jerome and Mitch were teaming even though we had made it one of the rules that teaming wasn't allowed, and Rob had disappeared quite a while ago to prepare for battle.

Lachlan and Rob had been staying with Preston in Texas for about a week and seemed to be having heaps of fun and Jerome and Mitch were living together anyway, so it looked like I was the Pack loner. Again. Great.

I vaguely heard the front door open about 5 minutes later, but I didn't think much of it. It was probably JJ coming back to grab something he had forgotten. After all, they only left about 20 minutes ago and the drive was normally about 15.

My door opened and I looked up because the boys knew better than to interrupt me when I was recording. However, the person who opened my door wasn't one of the Sidemen, it was a man dressed in full black. He was glaring at me. And he had a gun.

My stomach dropped at the sight of the silver killing machine, I had had past experiences with guns, and they weren't nice ones. "Vikk?" I heard Rob's voice in my headphones, but the man with the gun was advancing on me, so I stayed quiet. I was shaking with fear and nervousness, and almost crying. He turned around and picked up my phone, which was sitting on the small table beside my bed and threw it at me. It hit me square in the stomach and I doubled over in my chair trying to muffle my cry of pain in my arm.

I heard a voice through my headphones and my shaking worsened as the man in the doorway stepped aside to reveal two more men. "Vikk? Vikk?" Rob asked, his tone of voice showed that he knew that I was scared. "Vikk! What's wrong? Vikk! There's someone behind you!" One of the men had stepped into the view of my screen, and all of the boys could see him. He pulled my headphones forcefully off my head, disconnecting them from my computer. Several more frantic voices echoed through the room, most of the yelling from Rob and Jerome. "VIKK! VIKK! Vikk what's happening!" The first man had motioned to one of the others and they had drawn a gun as well.

My heart had almost stopped, I was sweating and I was struggling to breathing. The one man who didn't have a gun reached his hand out towards my head and I reflectively moved my arms to cover my head. He pulled my arms away and yanked on my hair, pulling me out of my chair and face first onto the floor. My head hit the corner of my computer box and my vision faded for a few seconds. When my vision cleared the pain settled in and my body started shaking with the pain. I didn't even have the strength to move or sit up. I repetitively opened and closed my eyes silently until someone grabbed my arm violently and pulled my body off the ground. I closed my eyes in fear of what was to come and stayed limp.

There was a startled scream from the computer, followed by several more and then sobbing. I knew my friends were scared, upset, emotional and terrified, but it took all my strength to remain motionless because I knew it would be worse if I was conscious. There was a voice above head, one I didn't recognize. "He's out?" Followed by another. "I think so." My limp body was dropped suddenly onto the floor and I felt my brain slipping into a world of blackness, so I let it take over. Then nothing.
