Dear friends, in the previous discussion we have studied the basic cause of lifestyle diseases. Now we get back to the discussion of importance of Minerals in our diet.
MINERALS make up a much larger portion of the body (up to 5%) than vitamins.
Minerals are essential for the organisation of the molecular structure and it's membranes. They also act as"co-factors of enzymes". Enzymes would not exist or function without minerals.

* Zinc
* Potassium
* Sodium
* Magnesium
* Phosphorous
* MangeneseThese are the essential minerals that our body require. If we don't get these minerals in our diet then our body will automatically shut down itself.
