Chapter 12

*DARIA'S P.O.V*

Tonight was the night I had my date with Jai. As I was getting ready I heard someone come in. "What??!" I asked looking behind to see Ebony. I was still mad at Mum for lecturing me and Ebony for being that child I could never be. I know I sound harsh but I have to take it out on someone. Didn't I?

"You look pretty." Ebony said before walking off. I was wearing a Vintage Lace dress with a baby pink bow. "If you think I'm going to be nice to you because you were, you're thinking he impossible." I said fixing up my simple yet effective make up. "No I'm serious! You look good!" She said moving her hands about like an idiot. "Leave peasant. I need to finish." I said pushing her out the door.

Ten minutes later I was finished. I must though I did look really good. "Daria there is someone at the door for you." My Dad yelled. "It's a boy." He said surprised. "Yeah Dad a boy I'm not lesbian." I sarcastically replied. "Hey Jai" I said giving him a hug. "Wow Daria you look beautiful!" He replied looking me up and down making me blush. "Now Daria make sure your home by 10pm no later." My Dad said waving his arms about. "Don't worry sir I'll make sure she is home on time." Jai said with a smile. "Thank you." Dad said waving us off.. Tonight here we come.

We arrived at a cute Italian restaurant after a 10 minute drive. "After you." Jai said opening the door. "Thank you." I said walking in. "Table for Jai." Jai said to thee waiter putting his arm around me. "Come this way sir." The waiter who looked about 20-25 said leading us to our table. "I'll be back to take your orders" the waiter said walking off.

 "This is so cute!" I chirped as I looked at the menu. "I thought you would like it." Jai said giving a wink. "Are you guys ready to take your orders?" The waiter said. "I'll have the salad." I said looking at him. "And I'll have the steak." Jai said also looking at the waiter. "Okay your orders will be out shortly." The waiter said walking off again. "You look beautiful." Jai said grabbing my hand. "You look beautiful to.." I said giggling a little. "Why thank you." Jai replied also giggling.

Our orders came out not long after. While eating we small talked about everything and everyone (not in a nasty bitch way). Not long after we went home. "Thanks Jai. It was great." I said as Jai walked me to my door. "No I should be the one thanking you" Jai said shaking his head. "Bye Jai" I said opening my door. "Hey Daria." Jai said grabbing my arm. "Yeah?" I said turing around. To my surprise Jai's lips crashed into mine. Soon after Jai pulled away. "Daria will you be my girlfriend?"

Will I? I thought to myself. There is only one answer. "Jai Brooks.. I will!" I said kissing him. "Thank you baby." Jai said putting his forehead on mine. "Your welcome" I said kissing his nose. "EWW..." I heard the window. Ebony... That little shit was spying on me with her friend. "I'm going to kill her." I said through gritten teeth to Jai. "It's okay.. I have to go bye." Jai said giving me another kiss.

I went inside slowly still taking in that I'm his. He's mine. "So Daria would you like to tell us something?" I heard my Mum say. I walked in the kitchen. "Nope.." I said going to walk out again. "Bullshit!" I heard Ebony squeal from her room. "EBONY DON'T SWEAR!" My Mum yelled. "Daria don't lie to us." My Dad said. "He asked me out Daddy!" I said running up to my Dad. Me and my Dad got on more than myself and my Mum. "That's good darling Dad said putting me on his lap. "But we need to talk.." Dad said looking at me. "What about?" "Well he is a boy and I just want you to be careful because he might want things such as se-" I cut my Dad off "DAD NO SHUT UP EWWW DON'T EVEN TALK ABOUT THAT!" I said jumping off his lap. "Dad we only just started going out don't worry." I said walking away slowly.. "I'm just worried.. Because first that piercing and now a boyfriend." Dad said shaking his head. "By the Daria I think the piercing you chose is pretty." Dad chuckled. This is why we are so close. "Thanks" I said walking to Ebony's room. "You're a little shit!" I said throwing my shoe at her. 

I kept on walking until I reached my room. I went on Facebook and other social media's and then went to bed still thinking.
