"What do you think about me giving Jax to the store?" Cameron's voice is tired but it's still so sexy to me over the phone.

"Why would you ever want to do that?"

"I don't have enough attention and time to give him. I'm always working or visiting my son at my mom's house so, that doesn't leave much for him. He's always outside, too."

"But he's my baby, too, Cam." I start getting fussy.

"Okay, okay. I'll keep him." He gives up before it turns into an argument.

I sigh. I need to be an adult and consider his wishes. "Okay, Cameron. Go ahead."

"Go ahead, what?"

"Give the dog to the store!" I reply, annoyed.

"You sure?"

"Do it, before I change my mind babe. I'll just...never get to see him."

"Sure you will." He tries to make me feel better. "I'll bring him out for you to walk around the beach. Get your quality time in."

"Can we take him out on the weekends and stuff? Oh and have rotating turns of babysitting?!" I get over excited.

"We will see, hun. Doesn't seem like a bad idea though."

"I wonder if that's a tax write-off."

He laughs lowly. "I don't think he is baby. But he will have like legal, like, documentation and stuff. He will be the store property."

"Oh." I want to change topics. "Babe?"

"Yes, baby?"

"...You wanna have phone sex?"

"Mmm." I can hear him licking his lips. "You start...go."

"CENE!" My dad calls from downstairs. "COME TO THE LIVING ROOM, PLEASE!"

I mentally cuss him out. "Baby. Ugh, I'm sorry, my dad needs me downstairs."

"All you have to say is you don't wanna do it anymore."

"Babe, I am not lying. I really do have to go."

"Ughhh...I have a baby boner." He yells.

"Keep it up. I'll be quick."

I toss my phone, leaving it un-hung up.

I hurry downstairs so I can get back upstairs quicker.

"Yeah?" I call.

"Come sit down." Dad orders. He stands as Denise is in the living room, sitting on the couch, comfortably. Asher sits before them, playing with his toys.

"This doesn't have to be long. I don't wanna si--"

"Sit DOWN, Cene!" Dad demands.

I shutup and do so.

"Always got something to say." He adds.

I plop onto the couch, far from Denise as I mug her.

"How's it goin Cene?" Dad weirdly asks.
