I do my best to message everybody the same message before it's too late.

To Skate: Don't come to work tomorrow, surprise drug test!!!

To Gilinsky: Don't come to work tomorrow, surprise drug test!!!

To Kiersey: Don't come to work tomorrow, surprise drug test!!!

To Taylor: Don't come to work tomorrow, surprise drug test!!!

To Matt: Don't come to work tomorrow, surprise drug test!!!

To Essie: Don't come to work tomorrow, surprise drug test!!!

To Carter: Don't come to work tomorrow, surprise drug test!!!

I'm so dumb. I should have just sent a group message. I ponder and think if I should tell Shai, Derek and Atlas. ...*sigh* only because I'm a good person. Like I expected neither of the three text me back but I can see they opened the message. Everybody else, however, thanked me in their own ways and spread the word to the other associates. I let out a big sigh of relief and plop back onto the couch.

Coming to work was a definite no for me today but I thought about all the people I warned and how many people weren't going to be at work today. It's going to be so low staffed that I don't know if we're going to stay open. I come in through the back door and see Cameron setting up pee-pee cups on the bar, reading from a paper.

"Hi babe." He smiles at me weakly. Cameron walks up to me, grabs the back of my head and kisses me on the lips.

"Here alone?" I ask. Hope he doesn't know that I warned everybody. Judging by his kiss, he doesn't. Cameron would have given me the cold shoulder before anything.

"Yeah. Everybody's late for some reason."

I look around nervously.

"Put your stuff down, come help me."

I do as he says and walk slowly to the bar table.

"That's gross, take those off the table." I say.

"They're unused."

"It's still a peepee cup. The concept itself is gross enough to lose appetite."

He giggles. "I guess, babe." He puts the cups on a table and goes back to reading the sheet. Theres about 15 cups sitting, ready to be peed in. There's a sign in sheet beside it and a stack of forms to fill out beside that. I feel sick to my stomach to know that nobody is coming in today. But I'm saving their jobs! And I'm definitely getting fired today because I'm surely not passing.

"Babe." Cameron calls me out of my trance.

"Yes." I snap out of it.

"Where'd you go? La La Land?"

"What's up?"

"Don't clock in." He advises.

"But--"

"I'll pay you under the table for today. I don't want you losing your job just because you're a pill-popping, weed-smoking, cocaine-sniffing drug addict." He over-exaggerates and jokes.

"K. Thank you."

"Might as well do that for everybody else, too. Gotta find loopholes to this sh*t, ya know?"

Well if I knew he was gonna do that, then I could have told everybody to come to work anyway! Sh*t! There's no way I'm telling him I sent out the warning, he's gonna completely disown me.

10 more minutes pass and opening is in 5 minutes. Aaron comes in, looking around. "Where's everybody at?"

Me and Cameron eye each other. Cameron is very pissed at this moment and he shrugs at the question. "I have no f*cking idea!"
