Rio Lane's parents get divorced when she was 6. After 2 years of custody cases, Rio lived with her mother for the next 8 years at Colorado. She comes back to her home town in the state of Texas and lives with her father.

Four days had passed since i confronted Tonya, but now Tyler planned our first date as a "week anniversary". Even though it has been a week, me and Tyler feel like a married couple already, without the arguing and kids heh. Hopefully things go well with our date. Tyler didn't tell me any details about the date because it's supposed to be a "surprise".
I didn't have the chance to tell my mother about my relationship with Tyler yet, but when I do, I hope she accepts him. I mean she knows that we've been friends and neighbors since grade school. She should know how great Tyler is even though she pretty much knows about Tonya and her cranky attitude. I haven't even talked to my mother since Halloween or some time ago. I haven't even asked about the baby's gender. Well it's too soon to tell, so I'll just wait for the results.
"Dad, about game night, can we reschedule until tomorrow? Tonight it's date night with Tyler. You know because a week has passed since he first asked me to be his girlfriend and well I was hoping that game night can be rescheduled for tomorrow. What you accept that please?"
He sighed and nodded as he put the board games away. I ran to hug him and kiss him on the cheek.
"Thank you dad. I love you. I will be home right after the date is over!", I say as I walk out of the house.
Maybe this can be the best night of my life. Well unless it's prom night, night of proposal or our wedding day. Geez!!! I'm getting ahead of myself. I need to focus and have fun because it's Tyler. My first boyfriend. My first date with Tyler. OH MY GOD THIS IS REALLY HAPPENING!!!!!
As I stood in front of the McMillan's front door, I knock and then, "Hello my Rio lovely Lane. You look fantastic tonight. Are you ready?"
I nod and smile. "Where are we going for our date?"
"Ah ah, nope. I will not reveal our date plan until we actually are there."
I sigh and smile. I know this will be fun and thrilling.
We walk through town holding each other's hands then we head to the park. Seem a like a picnic huh? Typical first date. I love it!

"How about there?" He points at a shady spot underneath a tree.
"Sure, there seems nice especially in the shade."
He sets up the picnic blanket and his big screen sheet and projector.
"Are we going to watch a movie?"
He sighed and smiled. "Yes, I can't you ruined the surprised. I should've blind folded you."
I chuckled and threw a piece of bread at him. "What's the movie we're watching?"
He hides his grinning face. "You'll see, just have patience."
I pretend to gasp and say as a joke, "oh my goodness!!! I love 'just have patience'!!! Greatest Oscar movie ever!"
He throws the bread that I threw at him back at me. "Its not that movie. Heh. Its something special that I've been working on. Now this time I am going to blind fold you because I don't want you to see the movie until it has actually started."
He blind folded me with a bandanna then continues setting up the rest of the equipment. One minute later he was done.
I begin to hear the sound of the projector film reel and try to guess the movie. "Star wars? The little mermaid? 21 Jump Street? Hm. James Franco? Dave Franco! Just take the blindfold off m-"
As I took off the blindfold, words couldn't express what was happening. "Oh, it hasn't started yet."
He laughs and passes me the clicker. "You're going to start the movie."
I click start then begin eating popcorn. I begin to see pictures of me when I was a child.
"Is this supposes to be...a slideshow?" I ask without turning my head.
He smiles and wraps his arm around my waist pulling me close.
Pictures of me and Tyler playing on my last week before leaving to Colorado then a picture of me coming back. "How did you take that one?"
"I asked a friend." He grins and kisses my forehead.
"Was it that newspaper boy at school? I knew it! Wait was there even a school newspaper? Of course not! No wonder he wanted pictures of me. I thought he was going to do a head line about the nerdy new girl at school."
As I continued watching the slideshow, it made me think about the extra gum commercial.
I sure did feel like Sarah. I felt special. Even me and Tyler have been dating only for a week now, it feel a like we were meant to be.
I leaned in and kisses Tyler on the lips and slowly slide my arms around his neck.
He rubs his hand slowly up and down my back then he moves lips to where the kiss begins to deepen.
He places his hand ontop of my phone and I place my hand ontop of his as we continued to kiss.
All of a sudden my phone buzzed for a face time but I ignored it. We begin to kiss deeply and lick each other's tongues as if there was no tomorrow but then all of sudden Tyler slid his finger that accidentally made him answer the call...
"Miss Rio Lane!! What on earth are you doing!?!"
I gasp with fright.
