My presentation went well. It was better than the others but it still was not the exact way I wanted to present. I did leave early after school with Tyler so that he could take me to my dad at the hospital.

"I hope dad can leave that hospital already. I don't want to have any negative thoughts about him being there because anything can happen."

"Rio, your dad will be fine. Maybe he'll get to leave sooner than you think."

"You think so?" He nods and I rest my hand ontop of his.

The rest of the ride was dead silence with the only sound of the air conditioner.

My phone suddenly rang. "Hello?"

"Rio, can we video chat?"

"Mom I'm inside Tyler's car. We're going to visit dad right now."

"Oh. Please darling I want to see your face while you're talking to me. I want to see your adorable dimples again."

I blushed and face palmed not because she called my dimples adorable, but the fact that Tyler heard made it embarrassing. "Mom I told you I'm in the car with Tyler! He can hear you!"

"Oh then I won't stop embarrassing you until you video chat with me right now."

"I've told you before not right now!"

"Tyler dear, did you know what happened when Rio tried playing sports?"

"Mom where are you going with this!?!" Damnit she's going to tell hijim that story!! Ughh why mom why!?!

"She thought it would be nice to score points for the opposite team."

"Damnit she said it." My face was red with embarrassment.

"She scored points for the opposite team in hope that they would return the favor to her team as well. But instead they just high fived her and all her team kicked her out of sports since then. They called her traitor or something like that."

Tyler had a big grin on his face and hid his laughter at the same time. "Look mom, I'm going to video chat with you okay? Let me just hang up this call."

I hang up on my mom and turn to Tyler whom is still trying not to laugh. "Just laugh already. I know it was stupid of me."

He nodded no and sighed. "I wish I had gone to Colorado to see that."

"Oh come on Tyler! You have no idea how innocent and young I was just doing that. I should have thought about the outcome if something didn't go according to plan but no. Look it happened years ago. Can we just move on already?"

He kisses my temple and I smile. "You're mom is right about one thing though.

"And that would be?"

"You have adorable dimples."

I smile and pecked his lips quickly before contacting mom.

Right away mom's face pops out.

"Hello mom, what did you want to talk about?"

"Hi sweetie, let me see Tyler's face first so I can know that you're safe with him."

I didn't face the phone to Tyler but he said his greetings while I just stared at the screen.

"What? Is there something on my face?"

"Nope. Anyway, anything new? How's my new baby sibling doing?"

"The baby is doing just fine, I'm going to the doctor's tomorrow to confirm how many months or weeks I'm pregnant plus the expected due date. Also I have a question. Why did you unfollow me on instagram?"
