Rio Lane's parents get divorced when she was 6. After 2 years of custody cases, Rio lived with her mother for the next 8 years at Colorado. She comes back to her home town in the state of Texas and lives with her father.
Rio, now at the age of 16...
I begin to shake and my knees wobble with nervousness. Were we going to do it?.. I'm not ready!!!!
"Look Tyler, I'm not going to do it in bed with you. We're not ready..I'M not ready!!!"
He covers my mouth and I try to escape. "Shh, look Rio, it's not what it looks like."
I look at him with a confused look. What does he mean? Why would he be taking his clothes off in front me?
"Then why are you stripping your clothes off?"
"I'm just changing my clothes to something I would get dirty and that my stomach can handle." He chuckles and I sit down on his bed.
"So why am I here then?" "Don't you remember? I'm going to give you something."
Of course I don't remember. You're glorious body made me forget. "O-Of course, silly me I must've been distracted.."
He winks at me and I blush and hide my face giggling at his wink. He sits in front of me and hands me a wrapped box.
"What's this?" "It's something I got for you, I hope you like it." He begins to blush and I kiss his lips.
"Thank you very much. I can't wait to see what it is."
He lays his head on my shoulder and we intertwine our fingers. We begin hearing someone coming upstairs.
"What's taking them so long?" "I hope they're not doing 'the nasty'." "Oh my Rio, no way she would do that yet. She's not old enough to do things like those."
Me and Tyler giggle at their whispers and get out of his room. We don't let go of our hands until we sit down on our seats.
Mrs. McMillan stands up and smiles at all of us. "I hope you and your father enjoy the thanksgiving dinner. We really did pour our hearts into this feast and would like to get to know you more to be a part of our family." She walks over to me and gives me a big hug. "We the McMillan's, welcome you both to our family." She begins to tear up with joy and I couldn't help but smile because I knew we were going to get along.
Speaking of getting along, Tonya wasn't really thrilled with the idea of me dating her brother or the idea of me at all, but I wasn't going ot let that ruin my relationship with Tyler. I'm with the way things were.
Mrs McMillan sits down and we all bow our heads down and holding each other's hands for prayer before we eat.
Once done, we all begin digging into our food and eating away. Of course dad was eating quickly as he could so that he can have desert.
As for me, Tyler and I put each other's foods into our mouths. It's as if we were married already :).
"You both look like little kids throwing food at each other ugh." Tonya groans with her face of disgust at us.
"Miss Tonya McMillan, you better apologize right now and get along with Miss Lane over here, she's a part of us now whether you like it or not."

Tonya cleans her mouth with a napkin and walks out of the dinner walking back upstairs. "No thanks."
I felt a bit hurt because it always made me wonder why and what did she have against me. Was it something from the past I can't recall? Was it me being with her brother? Is it me being alive around her at all?
Mrs McMillan shouts from the table. "Missy, you better get your attitude and ass right back down here and apologize or you're grounded for a month."
"It's not necessary Mrs. McMillan, I understand what she goes through. It'll take time before she has a positive vibe towards me."
"Nonsense my dear, you deserve to be respected and loved, but since we have our rude little missy up in her bedroom we have to give her the most fair punishment." I sigh and stand up.
"Mind if I go up to her room and ask what's wrong?" Tyler gave me the 'don't go up there' look but I smiled at him and kissed his cheek before whispering, "don't worry, I'll be fine."
"Go ahead darlin', its the last door upstairs to your left." I nod and walk upstairs heading towards her room.
I walk to her room and knock on her door lightly before she yells, "Rio go away you're not wanted here!"
I sigh and knock again. "I said go away!" "Look Tonya i just want to talk and wonder why you don't like me."
I look at the door knob and reached towards it until Tonya opens the door and looks at me with a pissed look on her face.
"What part of going away didn't you understand? I thought you know what that meant since you're so 'smart'. Now get your valedictorian ass down and leave." She slams the door and I begin to tear up.
