They want her to be smart, The smartest in her class. They said she'll always have a place in their heart, But she knows that that feeling will soon pass.
She wants to make you proud, She really does. She wants to wear a crown, But the stress is too much.
She makes you think that she's happy, She makes you think that she's fine. But little do they know, About the scars that she hides.
She tries so hard to stay on top, To be the smartest in her class. But all of this causes stress, All of this causes scars.
