29: Heartbreak

Just to make it clear, I'm not a lesbian (not that I have anything against them). It's about me and my former bestfriend, and how I felt when she let me.

Most heartbreak stories,
Are about a about a boy and a girl,
But this one is different,
I really should tell.

This heartbreak story,
Isn't about a relationship,
But the love was still pure,
But the way she abandoned me,
Now I'm not so sure.

We knew each other since nursery,
We grew up side by side.
But when we changed schools she left me,
And a part of my heart died.

How could you leave me like that,
How could you move on?
I loved you so much,
But a guess I wasn't the one.

We used to be best friends,
Together all the time.
But then you moved on to her,
You're the reason I'm writing this rhyme.

But this heartbreak story isn't about a boy and a girl.
It's about two bestfriends,
One whose heart was sweet like a pearl,
And another who smashed it,
And went on to another girl...

It's about two bestfriends,One whose heart was sweet like a pearl,And another who smashed it,And went on to another girl
