Jack was up on his favorite tree, laying on the same branch with his feet dangling on the sides. He was at the Garden in his school, avoiding a very touchy subject that the teachers love to torture him with, Math.
This wasn't an ordinary Garden though. This Garden was famous for making out for those couples who just can't get their hands enough. Mostly, Jack ignores the dirty deeds that those couple commits. But today was a different day.
Jack hears the familiar moan of another couple and he rolls his eyes at the sound. Sometimes, he would do his pranks on the couples like shouting 'who's there' or just plainly messing with them. Now, he's not in the mood. Well, not until the moaning stopped and he hears a series of shouting.
Jack, who was curious, looks down and finally understands what the commotion was all about when he sees Hans South, Mavis Vamps, and a very angry Elsa Hale. That's right. Hans and Elsa were the 'it' couple in their school and looks like she just caught Hans red handed.
Jack smirks as he put his head on his arm. This is going to be fun.
"E-Elsa," Hans couldn't help but stutter at the sight of his girlfriend. Well, who wouldn't stutter? Elsa was giving him a glare that can make the animals run away, thugs cry, and squeeze your heart that'll make you stop breathing.
Elsa gave him a very fake and phony smile. "Hello, baby, who's this?" She points to Mavis who looks as if she wasn't scared or anything.
"She's n-no one," Hans gulps down a lump on his throat, hoping that it'll push down the frightened feeling that he has.
"Really, huh?" Elsa squints her eyes, daring him to lie. "Well, ms. Nobody, can you leave us, please? My boyfriend and I are going to discuss a few things," she emphasized those words to let the girl know who she is and where she belongs.
Mavis glares at her before stalking away. Elsa looks back at Hans with narrowed eyes, her hands on her hips, her nose flaring and her lips pursed. She was obviously mad and didn't bought the story that the girl was just a nobody. Elsa wasn't stupid. She knows what this Garden is. She knows why they're together and she knows what the two did.
But she wants Hans to talk to her first. She doesn't want him to lie. She hates it if someone is lying to her. She loves the guy, yes, and she cares for him, too. He was one of the guys who went straight through her heart after she broke up with Pitch not more than a year ago.
"Are you going to say anything?" She demands when Hans doesn't speak a word. "Say something!"
That's the thing. Hans doesn't want to say anything, much less something. He knows that explaining won't be good since Elsa can't be persuaded. She's like a tough nut to crack.
"I'm..." Hans hesitates at first, unsure if he was going to say it now or a little bit later. But now he has decided. It was for the best after all. "I'm breaking up with you."
Elsa gaped at him for a moment. She couldn't believe it. She was expecting for something different, like an explanation of some sort. She didn't expect him to say those words this early.
"W-what..." Elsa catches herself. No, she shouldn't ask why. It would break her more if she knew the reason why he's breaking up with her. It was better if she doesn't know. She composes herself and says curtly, "fine."
Hans shrugs and walks pass her as if she was nothing but a mere stranger, like she wasn't the girl who cheered for him in every game he played, like she wasn't the girl who kissed his tears away when his father died, like she was nothing but a peasant.
