This can't be happening! Elsa screams in her mind as she stares at the silvery white haired boy from across her, drinking his glass of red wine while staring at her.
Elsa wants to hyperventilate in her seat but she doesn't want to alarm the adults beside them.
What a nightmare, really.
She thought that tonight will offer her peace and solace, now that she'd discovered that she's actually arranged to someone. But to her dismay, she meets the man who she is going to marry! What's more, he called her parents and the meeting between the two of them was earlier than expected.
Elsa now pronounced herself the stupidest of all.
"So, Elsa," Jack says, bringing her back to the present. "What brought you here in the first place?" He intertwines his fingers and props his elbows on the table.
Elsa looks up. "I wanted to find peace," she answers truthfully. "But I found disaster instead."
"You wound me," Jack says, faking pain, pouting his pale lips. "Why would it be a disaster? Everyone wants to meet and love me."
Elsa narrows her eyes at his cockiness. "Everyone, excluding me. Don't think of me as one of your fangirls. Remember that I am only marrying you because my sister is marrying someone else." And the man I love is dead, she silently added to herself, not wanting to bring the topic of Tadashi. Her heart still aches for him.
He tilts his head to the side. "My, you're interesting, Elsa Arendelle."
Elsa tries not to grit her teeth in annoyance. She just put an impassive face, ignoring the man in front of her and continuing her dinner.
Good thing that he hadn't talk since then.
------------------------
"Hey, Tadashi," Elsa greets, tracing the name of her dead lover, trying not to shiver at the cold tombstone. She puts a single white Tulip on his name, just like what she does ever since he died.
"Hiro's been a good boy for the past weeks," Elsa informs him, sitting in front of his tombstone, crossing her legs. "He and Gogo is are dating now. She makes her happy," she laughs softly. "And do you know? Aunt Cass met a man last week! They've been seeing each other now. They're probably having a date right at this moment."
Elsa closes her eyes when a warm breeze passes by. She thinks that it was Tadashi, saying that he'd miss her.
"I miss you, too," Elsa's voice breaks as she stares at his name. She places her hand on the cold and damp tombstone and whispers, "everyday, Tadashi. I miss you every single day."
Elsa wants to stay forever at that spot. She wants to talk to him, wants to share stories and experiences. Of course, she left the marriage thing out. She thinks that Tadashi will get jealous and feel betrayed once he finds out that she's going to get married even though it still not a year since he'd passed.
Elsa feels a hammer lifted away from her heart when she talks to him. She always feels that whenever they see each other. She feels relief and happiness whenever she sees the boy who saved her life. She still remembers how.
It was a stormy night, she recalls. She was driving through the neighborhood when another car suddenly appeared out of nowhere. Since the road was slippery, and it was so unexpected, she hit the break a little too late. Good things that the medics were not late or else, she was a goner already.
She remembered people shouting. She felt that she was moving but she wasn't walking. She remembered how her eyes opened and Tadashi's face was the first thing that she'd seen. She thought that she saw a guardian angel before dozing off. Turns out, Tadashi was her doctor.
