North always, and I mean always, told Jack to avoid the blue barrier that separated the two animation worlds. The old burly man never forgot to remind him to avoid it, to never try to get near it, whenever Jack flew around Dream World to explore. The silver white haired boy always asked why but he got clipped answers in the end, North saying that he wouldn't understand it.

Now, as Jack flew with constant speed across the night sky, he now understood why North told him to stay away from it. It's because of the portal—or whatever the hell it was—that led to the other side towards the world where the Outside People (or the residents of Disney World) existed. There was a way for the animation characters to meet after so many years of thinking that the barrier was the only thing that couldn't be broken. It took every ounce of Jack's will not to spread the word around Dream World.

There are plenty of reasons why he couldn't. For starters, people would ask why would he even get near the barrier when it's technically illegal. Imagine if he would jump to every Dreamworks character and tell them about it. People would think that he's crazy for telling them that a hole ripped the middle of the barrier when there's no proof. He's going to have to find a way to know the sequence of the hole like the time when it appears and the time when it disappears.

"Wind, take me to the North Pole! Faster!" Jack commanded and he felt the element following his command. As he got near the said place and felt the temperature dropping as he got closer, he couldn't help but feel nervous. What will he say to North? He just disobeyed the old man who he treat as his father. Will North be disappointed in him if he found out that he went to the barrier without permission?

The thought alone prevented Jack from landing into North's workshop. He stayed still in midair and with a frustrated cry, he flew further away from North Pole and away from North. If he couldn't tell the whole Dream World about the hole in the barrier, then he couldn't tell North too. Who knew what will happen? It was not that he doesn't trust the old man, but it was because his encounter with Elsa must remain a secret. He doesn't want to risk it because of his excitement.

It was not a secret in their world that Disney and Dreamworks were great rivals; the barrier reminded them of it. That's why, some Dreamworks animation characters hate the Disney characters and vice versa. There were different stories about them that circulated throughout the whole Dream World. Most of them were nothing good and some didn't even help one bit.

The histories were enough to make them stay away from the barrier. If it weren't even there, a war might broke out once it happens. The two worlds hate each other and the first thing that they might do once the barrier's gone is to kill each other. Jack didn't know why he doesn't feel any hatred towards Elsa when he met her at the heart of their worlds.

The barrier always made Jack curious. Given that he was a rebellious brat, he always sneaked closer to it and wait for the sun to rise. He always watched how the barrier shimmered under the touch of light; the faint blue sparkling like diamonds. It was the first time that he'd seen the hole on the barrier. He swore that he could still feel the blinding light on his skin.

But why? What happened? How did it happen? And more importantly, what is North's connection about it? Jack's curiosity was getting the best of him again. He wanted to unravel the mysteries, especially when there's the barrier involved. Besides, how could he see Elsa again if he doesn't do anything about it?

Elsa. Elsa. Elsa. The name repeated inside of his mind like a broken record. He remembered the way he felt his knees giving out when he laid his eyes on her. She was so beautiful and full of innocence. She was pure and he wanted to see her again. He wanted to hear the sound of her laughter, the tone of her voice, the curve of her lips, the blue in her eyes.
