Jack rolls his eyes as he checks the time on his wrist watch. He releases an exhausted with a mix of frustration sigh as he once again looks around the whole Italian restaurant. He sighs again and checks his watch, feeling his patience running thin when he sees that his 'date' was late.
30 seconds, and I'm out, he thinks, drumming his fingers impatiently on the table.
5, 4, 3, 2, 1--
"Hi," someone abruptly sat on the chair in front of him. It was a cute little platinum blonde girl and she was smiling.
Jack forgot his name for a moment and just woke up from his daze when the girl stretches out her hand to him.
"Elsa," she introduced herself. "Elsa Winters."
Jack takes her hand almost right away she was done introducing. "Jackson Frost."
She smiles. "I'm sorry I'm late. Traffic's was bad as usual."
Jack smiles back to her. "No, it's okay. It's our first date after all."
To his bewilderment, Elsa looks at him with a stupefied expression.
"Uhm, date? My sister said that this was a client meeting," Elsa stated, completely confused.
Jack looks at her with the same expression. "Really? Because my friend, Eugene, told me that he'd set me up on a blind date."
Elsa blinks then leans her head forward. "Do you think that they set us up?" She whispers to him.
Jack leans his head to her, too, until he can feel her breath on the tip of his nose. "I think so."
Elsa smiles, her eyes shining and leans back on her chair. "Well, it'll be ungrateful for us to decline."
"It would," Jack says with a playful tone.
Elsa giggles and Jack just can't help but smirk at her. The sound from her little laugh was not like those girls that he'd dated before. It wasn't flirty or annoying or ear shattering. It was good... No, not just good but it was heart warming add with butterflies dancing. More than he could have imagine from this girl across from him.
"Okay," Jack breaks into a grin. "Since it's our first date and all, why don't we play a game?"
Elsa beams at his suggestion. "Are you sure? There are a lot of people here and I can't afford doing some dares," she says as playful as he, her lips curving into a smile that can make others stare in awe.
"Nah, dares are clichés," Jack chuckles. "We're gonna play 'I've never ever'," he says with a wink.
"That's cliché too," Elsa pointed a fork at his way.
"Not in a date it isn't," Jack counters.
"Okay," Elsa folds a napkin on her plate. "I've never ever been set up before."
Jack laughs. "Damn. You took the words right out of my mouth," she giggles at his statement. "Okay, I've never ever peed on public."
"I've never ever forget to brush my teeth," Elsa flashes a smile, showing her white teeth.
"I've never ever wear briefs."
Elsa's eyes widen yet her lips were curled into a smirk. "So, you're a boxers guy?"
Jack shrugs. "More comfortable."
"Well," Elsa looks at him in his eyes, enthralling him for a minute. "I've never ever met someone like you."
