Jack stares mindlessly at the wild crowd of Blizzard Club. His once playful look was now replaced with nothing but lifeless. He was almost like a walking zombie. All the fun that he had just vanished into thin air. Now, he's just a serious businessman. He has been like that for three weeks, since his girlfriend, Mavis, broke up with him the day he was about to proposed.
"Dude, cheer up!" He hears the muffled voice of his friend, Kristoff, through the thick sound of music blaring on the speakers.
He looks at them as he drums his fingers on the table. "Can I go home now?" He asks monotonously. "I mean, what are we doing here anyway?" He looks at the three guys across him.
Hiccup picks up a beer and hands it to him. "Dude, drink up and have fun!"
Jack stares at the offered drink before shaking his head in a no. "I don't drink anymore!" He shouts in order for them to hear.
"What?" Eugene asks incredulously. "Why?"
Jack looks away and stares back at the crowd. He watched with no interest as a couple of girls sway their hips at him, offering him something like a tasty treat.
"Cmon," Hiccup slaps his shoulder and he whips his attention back to his friends. "Forget about her, Jack," his friend says. "There are a lot of different girls out there! You just gotta look!"
Jack sighs. "No. Mavis is the only one for me anyway," he looks down as he states those words. "I loved her for three years, Hiccup. You won't understand."
Hiccup smirks impishly, which Jack didn't quite caught. "No, we won't but she will."
Jack raised his head and looks at them with confusion. "Who?"
Eugene points at someone, his index finger pointed at the dancing floor's direction. Jack looks back and sees the sea of people part and a Goddess immerged from the abyss of that sea.
The girl has platinum blonde hair and blue eyes. Her hair was done in a French braid while her bangs were pushed back. She looks not older than 25 yet not younger than 20. Her curved hips were swaying as she walks her way towards them. It was almost sexy, really. Not until the girl stumbled half her way through.
"Oww," the boys cringe.
"Oops!" The girl says groggily, now walking towards them in a zigzag motion. It was a good thing that she got hold on their table before she can fall splat on the floor. "Sorry about that," she says with her groggy tone. Jack already knows that she's half way to being drunk. "Got a couple of drinks," she hiccups as she points at the bar. "And I just got carried away. And whee!" She laughs and slaps Kristoff on his arm. "You know what I'm saying?" She asks to them, her eyes half open.
Instead of being annoyed, Jack's friend sputters over a laugh as Jack tries to maintain his anger. He looks accusingly at the guys, trying to see if they're serious or not. Because this girl sitting fight across from him is definitely not going to help.
"Wew!" She leans her head on the table. "You were the ones who called me?"
Kristoff was the one who answered. "Yes, Elsa. You see, we have a love problem."
Elsa chuckles, the way all drunks laugh. "Huh, what? You and Anna have problems?"
Jack wonders how this drunk girl knows about his friend's fiancée.
"Uhm, nope," Kristoff replies. "We're great but this isn't about me."
"Love Cupid," Hiccup interjects. "This is about our friend, Jack," his hand landed on Jack's shoulder.
Jack looks at them with so many questions flashing through his eyes until he meets the girl's eyes.
"Jack Frost," he introduced, handing her his hand.
