Phoenix's POV
After Charles and I exited the mansion, we strolled through the gardens. We chatted about small nothings such as the weather, breakfast, and how we slept the night before. We arrived at a fountain where we decided to take a seat. Charles observed our surroundings before saying, "Okay, no one is around. We need to think of a plan to get out of this quickly."
"Agreed. Now think Charles!" I stated. I drummed my fingers on my lips in thought. We both say in silence until it happened. I was the one to smell the smoke first due to my advanced animal senses. I whipped my head in the direction of the mansion, letting out a screech, "Your vacation house is on fire!" Charles's body stood up on its own as it then began running in the direction of the house. I could hear his feet pounding against the garden path louder than the drum of my fast paced heartbeat. We were to the drive of the mansion when James and Fred intercepted us.
"Come with us!" James shouted above the wail of the approaching fire trucks. I looked to Charles to see what he thought. He gave a brief nod towards me, signaling that we should go. I took a deep breath, but coughed due to the smoke penetrating the air. Fred grabbed my arm and began hauling me toward an awaiting vehicle. Meanwhile, Charles and James silently followed behind. I was brutally shoved into the car by Fred. I turned to look at him with questioning eyes; only to be meet with a rag trust in my face. Before I could swat the offending material away, my eyes began to droop shut on their own accord. Just as I was fainting, I saw Charles's body being hauled into the seat beside me. He obviously had been drugged too. With those last observations, I lost the will to stay awake.

So I know you might hate us for eternity, bur it is in our destiny to make plot twist twister then ever so buckle your set belt because this is going to be the ride of your life! (By the way No Pun Intended)
We also know that you might hate us because we changed to only publishing once a week. I know we promised you that we would publish more often but we are so busy with other books. Destiny is going to maybe be in a Pageant!!!! So EXCITED for her! And because it is the summer I am going places every weekend and this weekend I'm going to Chicago to visit some people we used to know.
I, Eternity, am writing a book in this account called Arms of Another so read the author's note next week to learn a little more about it!
