The Woman Next Door

Something is still wrong.

"Time to go now" Clara said looking at the clock, it was almost lunch time.
"Is your dad coming to pick up or should my dad drop you home" Clara asked Crystal. She knew how busy Crystal's parents were, Her mom was a nurse and her dad was a doctor. She spends most of her time at home with her grandma.
"Drop me home" Crystal said she had no other choice.
"Bye Belle" They both said together and ran to Clara's dad's car.
"Hmm, I wonder where is mom and dad" Belle asked herself and at that very moment they arrived.
"Hi, Belle, woah..! so there is Hooty we have been looking everywhere" her dad said.
"Oh him, he was next door" Belle said quickly.
"You went next door" her mom said shocked,"Don't you know not to leave the house when we are out "
Belle thought it was best if she didn't say anything of what happened, Instead she lied "Oh no, mom the lady next door returned him to us"
"You opened the door for a stranger" her mom replied, even more shocked.
"It's Okay dear" Belle's dad said to her mom "Our daughter is 15 now, we must trust her to make her own decisions"
"Thanks dad" Belle smiled and went to her room. She was bored. If only school hadn't closed down for vacations it wouldn't be that boring she thought.
Then 'bling' message for Clara,
Belle read it, it said "We are going to come back tomorrow, same time, I want to speak to that Mary"
"No, We can't talk to her, she is a stranger " Belle replied.
An instant reply came from Clara "Look at you, afraid of strangers..? What are you..? a five year old..?"
Belle did feel a little silly, and she texted "Mom won't allow it, I am sure, but you still can come"
Clara texted back, "Tell her she is my cousin"
Belle: "Then what if she wants to meet her?"
Clara: "Anyways, I am coming over tomorrow, we will sort it out, bye "
Belle: "OK bye"
Belle started lazing around with her laptop till it was dinner time.
She had dinner and she hopped into bed waiting for tomorrow,
She was in a deep sleep when *Whisper* *Whisper*
She suddenly awoke due to a very strong whisper. She could someone whispering in her room and she found out it came from the hole in her wall.
She was afraid but still, she put her ear to the wall and she could hear "Why....? Why would you......? Am I not enough.....? Why.....?"
She didn't understand anything, but that sound was surely not Mary's.. It was a feminine voice. Then all of a sudden the voice stopped. Belle waited for the voice but that was all. Belle quickly texted Clara and Crystal but she was sure they'd be asleep. So she went back to bed and she impatiently waited for tomorrow.
