"We're in Dorm 317 in residence hall C?" Sky takes out her map of the University and begins to try to work out where we need to go.

"What a co-incidence, we're in residence hall C too." Justin grins. "We're dorm 204 on the floor below you. Follow us and we'll show you where it is".

The two boys begin to walk and Sky and I quickly follow, trying to dodge the crowds of students coming from the opposite direction. We collect our room cards and finally reach residence hall C. It's much bigger than I had expected, with three floors and at least 100 dorms on each one.

"This is it: Dorm 317." Zayn points to the large rectangular sign which reads our room number. Sky slots her room card into the door and the two boys uninvitedly follow us into our room and sit on the bed I claimed as mine.

The room is much nicer than I had expected; with freshly painted walls and soft untouched carpets that mould to your foot steps. There is a large sink with a mirror above on the wall for Sky and I to share, and community bathrooms down the hall. Eugh.

"I have to go." Justin leaps up looking at his watch in a panic. "I have class, but it was nice to meet you both! And I'm sure I'll see you around" Justin shoots me a flirty smile which sends shivers through me.

I smile back nervously, "See you around" I say awkwardly. Justin raises his eyebrow but shrugs it off as he says goodbye to Sky and leaves.

"So", Zayn stands from my bed, twidling his thumbs, "You guys want me to show you around the place?" I look up at Zayn, admiring his gorgeous appearence. He's smiling, a smile that had never come across as so perfect to me before. His chestnut eyes glisten, and his perfect lips turn up at the corners, giving off the impression of both mystery and genuine happiness.

Sky notices me staring at him and a mischievous grin covers her face. "I actually think I'll unpack and have a nap, I'm feeling sort of jetlag anyway. Bella will go though." My eyes fill with shock which quickly change to embarrassment.

"So?" Zayn asks impatiently.

"Sure." I swallow. Zayn's smile lights up as he walks out of our room. I dart a joking scowl at Sky before I leave her alone in our dorm to 'unpack'.

As we walk through the enormous University Zayn shows me all the different buildings and where each classes are taken. I also learn that he has been studying business and engineering here for around a year and that he moved down from a town called Bradford because he wanted to leave his past behind and there was no future there for him. I didn't ask why but badly wanted to know the answer.

"And this is the main cafeteria" Zayn points to the hundreds of people socialising in the cafeteria, and we both walk in. "Oh, you should come and meet some of my mates" he gestures to the large group of friends sat at a table not far from where we're standing. I follow him over and stand shyly waiting for him to introduce me.

"This is Bella" he tells his friends; "And Bella, this is Louisa, Harry, Niall, Louis, Hannah, Liam, Chaz and Ryan". They all say hi to me and welcome me to sit with them. I take a seat next to Louisa who seems really excited to meet me and makes me feel at ease.

"So how do you like University so far?" Niall asks me, taking a bite into his sandwich.

"It seems awesome." I smile, "The people seem really nice and the classes here are meant to be amazing".

"And the parties" Louis laughs, "You'll have to come, there's one tomorrow actually" he offers.

"Sure." I answer. I'm not sure if going to a party on my first day of university is a good idea, but I've made some friends, and I don't want to seem like a bore. Plus, I'm sure Sky will be thrilled to hear we've got a party to go to. Being the party animal that she is.

"Great! You seem really nice, I think you'll love it here" he scribbles down his number and the address the party is at, "Here's the address" he informs, "and my number. In case you have any problems that is." I giggle at his assurance and embarrassment flashes in his eyes.

"Do you want to grab something to eat?" Zayn asks. Now that I think of it, I'm starving. I haven't eaten since I got off the plane. I nod and we both stand and begin to walk over to the queue.

"I'm starving." I tell Zayn, "I haven't eaten sinc-" I freeze. It can't be.

"What's wrong?" Panic flashes in Zayn's eyes as they dart from my motionless eyes to the boy stood almost a metre from us.

Riley.
