Unsure

Chapter 16

A/N: I don't have a lot of time to write this chapter, so it will only be a short one! But I wanted to update today so yeah. But I will make up for it with tomorrow's chapter! :)

Zayn's Point Of View:

Justin and I sit either side of Bella, anxiously waiting for her to wake. What the hell happened? One minute she was rudely walking away and the next she was on the floor in agony.

I just want her to be okay. I don't know what I'd do if something life-threatening happened to her. She's been unconscious for four hours now, and it feels like four hundred.

"Please Bella." I whisper, squeezing her hand tightly. Her eyes slowly blink open and she squints at the bright hospital lights. Thank god she's okay. For now at least.

She sits up quickly and confused, before sinking back down a little and holding her head with her hand.

"Take it easy" Justin soothes her, and I shoot him a glare which he ignores as he takes her other hand into his. "You're in hospital. You collapsed. We don't know why at the moment but the doctors are trying to find out." he comforts.

She nods and reaches for the water on the side. I take it and hand it to her, worriedly watching as she almost gulps down the entire cup.

At that moment, a small blonde nurse walks in, with some papers in her hand.

She smiles, "Someone's woken up then. How are you feeling?"

"Tired," Bella croaks, rubbing her eyes sleepily. The nurse giggles a little before her smile turns to a serious expression.

"We've found out what's wrong. Would you like the others to leave or do you want them to stay?" she asks, a serious and somewhat disturbing tone in her voice.

Justin and I turn to Bella and she nods, gulping down the remainders of her water before answering. "They can stay" her voice is croaky and she sounds exhausted. God I hope she's alright.

"It's the baby" the woman looks at Bella with a sympathetic and sad expression on her face.

What? Baby?

"What?" Me, Justin, and even Bella say in unison.

She's pregnant? Or was? What?

What?

"You mean you didn't know you were pregnant?" The woman looks at Bella with both confusion and concern showing clearly in her eyes.

"No.." Bella begins to shake, looking extremely nervous.

"You might want to give her a minute." The nurse tells Justin and I, "I think she needs to take this in."

Bella's Point Of View:

Justin and Zayn both leave me alone in my section with the nurse.

Pregnant? I was pregnant?

How could I not have known. I try to calm my shaking hands and stop my rapidly beating heart from aching as I look at the nurse who is sympathetically staring at me.

"How many months was I?" I ask, my voice shaky. I'm not sure I really want to know these things but whether I want to know them or not, I need to.

"Five weeks" she sighs.

I'd love for her to say it's a missunderstanding. That she mixed up my results with someone else's. I wish it didn't add up but unfortunately.. It does.

Around two months or so ago, I was in a bad place. Things were getting bad with Riley and all I would do is go out with Sky, to rough clubs where she would get drunk but I wouldn't. But one day I was angry, I was really angry with Riley and I needed to do something I knew that would hurt him, and maybe prove to him that I didn't want him. I slept with some random guy at a club. He was completely wasted, and when I decided I didn't want to do it anymore it was too late, and he wouldn't stop until he had finished. I realized that the condom had split, and was freaking out the next morning.

Sky reassured me that it would be okay. That I could take a pregnancy test a week or so later, and if it was positive, I could just abort it. I know it sounds horrible, but the idea relieved me. I don't believe in abortion myself and was so so scared but it was my only option.

But anyway, I took a pregnancy test a week later and it came out negative.

I guess I didn't wait long enough.. But I was pregnant, clearly. And now it's dead. It's dead and it's all my fault.
