Never Once A Paradise ~
Chapter Eleven ~
______________________"What?" I asked James. If he was joking with me I was going to hurt him. "Well, he's called everyone a peasant when they started working for him. But what I find odd is that after he got out of that faze, he didn't call anyone else peasant, which took me by surprise because he still called you it. Madam, I think he's caught some kind of feelings. I of course don't know of the kind of feelings he has, but I don't think you should run away." He chuckled softly and patted my shoulder.
"And in all honesty if I may say, I am totally shipping you two. Isn't that what the kids are say nowadays?" He made me laugh and I gave him a quick hug. "I'll think about it tonight." He got up, bowed and left.
I stood up and did the same.
When I got to my bed, I lied on my back thinking about it. He doesn't have feelings.
I've made my decision that I was going to leave. Who would I be if I didn't and he would be proved right?
-----
I woke up the alarm clock and turned it off. Today was my last day in this mansion and probably the last time I would see these people.I sighed but got up and took a long shower. I put on my clothes which consisted of skinny jeans and a plain purple shirt, laced together with white UGG boots.
I wrapped a white scarf around my neck and put on my panda hat, which under it, I put my hair in a side braid. It was officially winter now and here in Spain, when it's winter, it's freezing.
I was finishing up making my bed when I heard a knock at my door. I opened it up and James gave me a worried look.
"You should check on Master Rakel as soon as possible. I don't think you'll be leaving just yet." He walked away and confusion wrapped around my brain.
I took my hat off but left on my scarf, which since my hat was fuzzy, made my hair frizz in all different directions.
I walked out of my room, closing my door and headed over to Rakel's room.
I knocked on the door and don't get an answer so I assumed that he was in shower, until I saw the door open.
It was James again and he gave me a wink. "Remember what I told you and take care of him please." He walked out of his room and down the stairs. I looked over at Rakel who was surprisingly still in the bed.
His head was facing the wall and I couldn't see his face so I just pulled up a chair and sat in front of him.
Remember what James had said? He said a lot of things, what did he mean?
I saw Rakel shift my way and when I saw his face I covered my mouth in worry.
The roaches should've listened to me when I said he was sick. His face was paler than my skin, not a good thing, but his nose was red and so was his chest. He was shirtless but I guessed that just how he slept.
He had bags under his eyes from what I could see and his hair was going every different directions, even messier than mine.
I rolled my eyes and took my scarf off. I guess I'm not leaving so soon after all. I did suddenly remember what James had said.
Strip him, make sure he stayed hydrated and make sure he gets a lot of sleep.
I pressed my hand to his forehead and it was scorching hot. How did he get this sick, it looked like he was getting better yesterday.
I took my hand away from his forehead and turned around to go and get him some water, until a cold slender hand wrapped around my wrist.
My head snapped to him and I knew he wasn't fully up because his eyes were closed. He pulled my hand towards him until my ear was almost against his mouth.
