Never Once A Paradise ~

Chapter Nineteen ~

"Do I know you from somewhere?" He inspects my face.

I hesitantly shake my head. He comes in closer and I instantly think about all of the times I've kissed him.  His eyes were a dull blue and his lips were close to mine.

He finally gives up and backs away. "Well it's not worth waisting my time. Did you two happen to see a girl your height with dirty blonde almost brunette looking hair around here? Her hair was a little longer than yours."

Yeah because the lady cut it.

We shake our heads really fast. "Nope,  never,  not in our daily lives,  we need to go now,  bye!" I grab Vivian's arm and we run out.

I drag her out of the mall and she looks at me and busts out laughing.

I frown. "What is so funny?" I ask her, crossing my arms. "Your face when he got all close to you!" I rolled my eyes.

"I kissed that man twice,  how do you expect me to look at him when he's all in my face?" I proclaim at her and she laughs even more.

"Just get in the car, I'm driving." She gets in the car,  as do I and drive back to the house.

Their house wasn't that small,  but it wasn't that big either. It was an average house. They got all of their money mainly from Vincent. Vivian had a job as a waitress and Vincent was a doctor so he made more money than her.

We stepped into her house and I was attacked with a big dog.

They had a huge dog and his name was Kinky. I laughed at the name at first but they said it was because he was always running around and so happy.

"Hey," He licked my face as I tried to say his name.

"Down boy." He got off of me with Vincent's command. He looked up at me and gasps. "You're stunning."

He looked at me with wide eyes and I blushed.

He came over to me and guess what he did next. He sniffed my hair.

"You are so weird!" I laughed as I grabbed my hair back. He started laughing. "It even smells like strawberries!"

He grinned at me while he put Kinky on his leash. I noticed he was dressed in jeans and a sweater. "I'm about to walk the dog."

I loved walking the dog.  I find that whenever I walk the dog,  good things happen. "Can I come with?" I ask him and he nods then grin.

"Of course m'lady." He tried to speak with an accent and I rolled my eyes,  laughing. "Let me change first."

I quickly changed into some black joggers and left my gray sweater on. I put on some running shoes and put my hair up.

I walked out and Vivian stopped me. "Oh no you don't! You take your hair done this instant!" She sounded like a mother.

"But–"

"No buts. I took you to get your hair done so that you could have it done,  not put it back up again." She rolled her eyes, even though that should be me.

"Fine." I took it down and she came over and fixed it. "See you made it all frizzy." She gave me a sour expression and let me leave.
"Come on Kinky." I say to him and he follows me. "Wait for me!" Vincent yells.

I was holding Kinky's leash when he went wild. That was one thing about Kinky. When he got outside, he was a wild dog.

My attention was on Vincent so I didn't notice how Kinky's leash slipped from my hands.
