Never Once A Paradise ~

Chapter Twenty One ~
_____________________

I couldn't go to sleep. Excitement was running through my veins like you wouldn't believe.

We were almost in Spain and I was ready to congratulate James and my mom.

We three were stepping off of the plane a arm wrapped around my shoulders. I looked up at Vincent and he smiled at me. "Thanks for coming." I tell him honestly.

"No problem Strawberry." We turn the corner to see Tommy,  Carmen, James, Owen,  and Rakel standing there. James holding up the sign that said Olsen.

I smiled at everyone and they looked passed me. I walked up to them. "Do we know you?" Tommy asked.

"You're that girl from America. And you're that guy." Rakel's jaw clenched and he noticed his arm around my shoulder.

"My family is so clueless." I mumble to Vincent. "Layla?" Carmen asks in disbelief.

"Guys meet my best friend Vivian," I point to Vivian who was talking to Owen. "And my close friend Vincent." I smiled.

"What happened to you!?" Tommy yelled and ran to me,  giving me a hug. Vincent let me go and I hugged Tommy tightly.

"You look so beautiful." Carmen gave me a small smile and hugged me as well.

"Congratulations guys." I hug Carmen and James. "Madam Layla you look astonishing."

I unwrap my arms from James. "Now James,  if you are going to marry Carmen then you are going to have to stop with the Madam Layla stuff. Call me Layla."

He nodded and smiled. It was good to be back with my family again. "Now let's go,  we have a wedding to go to,  don't we?"
----
I placed on my bridesmaid's dress and looked at myself in the mirror. I then saw a shadow in the back of the mirror and turned around.

Rakel stood there looking at me with devilish eyes. "Daniel." I curtsey. It was weird saying his first name but then again I didn't work for him anymore so I didn't have to call him sir.

He looked at me from head to toe and I felt a little conscious all of a sudden. His hair seemed to be two shades lighter than usual and he wasn't in his regular suit. The suit he was in had a lot of gray.

"Be out in five." He spoke quickly and strides away. I wonder what his problem is.

I finished lightly brushing my hair and stood up. I walked out of the door and went to the service area.

The building was strung with white and pink. It was beautiful. I looked around,  amused at what they had done with the place.

I walked to my position and it was about ten more minutes until it actually started. I saw Vivian and Vincent in the audience and I winked at them. They both winked at me and I watched as the doors opened.

My mom was beautifully dressed in her wedding dress. It had sequins all around the bottom part of the dress. At the top it was kind of fitting,  and it looked good with how the bottom of it kind of puffed out. It was similar to the blue dress I wore the first day when I worked for Rakel.

I watched as the flower girl, which they switched out for Tommy so it was in fact the flower guy,  walked down the isle throwing small patches of flowers on the ground,  trailing after her.

Once she stepped onto the stage,  she handed me her flowers and held hands with James as they both looked at the pastor.

He started his words as everyone watched them. It was a while until they put on the rings. They smiled at each other.
