48 Hours

Hour 7

Hour 7:
Peyton M's POV

We ran up to the cabin as fast as we could, it took around half an hour or so because we had to find it which is very hard when this all looks the same, eventually we got there at around quarter to 6 in the morning, the 6th hour, we run in as soon as we get there, and find ourselves faced with a pile each, we knew who's was who by the dresses at the bottom of them, they were the dresses they had been wearing that night when they were abducted, on top of each of them was a picture of each girl holding yesterday's newspaper as today's isn't out yet, it was enough to prove they were still alive

"They're alive" I say with a small bit of relief, she may still be gone but she isn't hurt, at least not yet anyway

"Further instructions at 6:30" Clark says

"What?" Ryan asks

"Look" Clark points to a sign on the wall

"Let's look around a bit, see if there's anything we can find anything" Corey suggests, by this point it is just gone 6 am

"Okay" we look around for a while until all our phones go off in sync

"There's your proof your girlfriends are alive, now for what I want, I don't want money, I already have enough of that, unfortunately what I truly want you can never give me, that has already been taken but instead I will settle for this, tell the world about you guys, tell them everything about your relationships, I know they are under wraps, end that and you will find your next instructions sent to you, they will arrive at 10am if the task has been completed, and remember the whole truth, for now that is all ~ A"  I read

That didn't seem so bad, I mean we had intended to keep our relationship private until it got to a point where we knew where we were but I think we're there by now so why not? There's got to be something more to this

"Guys" Clark whispered, we all looked at him confused and he did a small gesture towards the corner behind him, we looked up as covertly as we could and saw a video camera

"Let's go look around outside" Ryan says and we all head outside

We walk a little bit into the woods, checked for cameras and then got down to business

"He's watching us" Clark says

"Yeah" I reply

"I have an idea" Corey says

"What is it and is it going to get anyone killed" Ryan asks bluntly

"That camera was wireless so it must be transmitting to somewhere probably via wifi or Bluetooth, if I can patch into that camera I can trace it back to the source and we can find where it's streaming to" Corey explains

"Will he know you're doing it?" I ask not so sure that's a good idea for the girl's safety but I guess we can't just keep playing and hope that it's actually possible for us to win

"No he won't" Corey replies

"Then do it" Ryan says

"We'll need to head back so I can get my laptop" Corey says

"We'd need to get back anyway, I presume telling everyone through social media is allowed but it only you two that need to do it, me and Ryan already have out relationships out in the open" Clark says

"Engagement for Ryan" I point out

"Everything needs to be out and this guy knows everything" Corey points out when Ryan gives us a funny look

"Okay so let's get back asap" I say

"I'll drive" Clark says and Ryan throws him the keys, but first we have to actually find the car, I really hope this idea of Corey's works because of not then it could all go even more wrong than it already is
