Chapter 12
The music blasted through the speakers as they made their way into the club. The bass made the floor tremble and Marie felt the pounding all the way up to her chest. Marissa pulled her hand as they weaved through the other moving bodies until they were on the dance floor.
Marissa and Amy immediately started dancing and throwing their arms up. Marie just stared at them and felt herself relax. She closed her eyes and started swaying her hips to the beat. Soon she was lost in the music with her two friends as they giggled and danced sexily.
“Let’s go get drinks!” screamed Amy over the music. Holding hands they reached the bar and plopped onto the stools. They were all breathless and a little sweaty as they glanced at each other and busted out laughing.
“Im super happy you thought of girl’s night out Amy!” Marissa told her ecstatically.
“Me too! I really needed this.” Marie said quickly and then turned to the bartender as he asked for their drinks.
Amy patted her knee and gave her a sympathetic look. “How are you feeling?”
“About?” Marie gave her a confused glance as she sipped her pina colada.
“About Tristan.” Marissa told her seriously.
“Oh.” She placed her hands in her lap and gave them an expressionless look. “Im fine; I was just surprised to see him that’s all. Let’s not talk about him though. This is a girl’s night.” She chuckled and downed the rest of her drink.
“Come on let’s go dance!” She walked to the dance floor as Marissa downed the rest of her water and Amy did the same with her strawberry daiquiri. They quickly stood and rushed after her.
They joined Marie in the middle of the dance floor and looked at the other people dancing around her. They made a huge circle around her and people were cheering her on and giving her cat calls. It was obvious to anyone that Marie was an experienced dancer as she swished her hips and slowly drew one hand down her body.
It made Marissa shake her head with amusement as Marie had her eyes closed and was blocking everyone out. The song changed and the club got rowdy and the three girls squealed.

The door creaked open and the stifled laughter disturbed the silence in the house. “Shh! try not to make noise!” Marie whispered as she turned around to face the girls. The fast movement made Marie dizzy and she stumbled backwards knocking into a table. Causing a vase to teeter and finally crash onto the floor.
Her hand flew to her mouth in shock and Amy and Marissa froze listening to see if they had woken anyone up. After a few silent seconds they continued to stumble and try to walk straight to their rooms. They were so drunk that Marie was surprised that they hadn’t crashed on the way back home.
“Yes! Mission accomplished.” Marissa whisper-yelled.
“You spoke too soon.” A deep voice replied as the lights flickered on; stopping the girls midstride to the stairs.
Marie turned slowly to face the voice and laughed timidly shrugging her shoulders. There stood Ralph, Noah and Jonathon looking at them sternly with arms folded.
“Do you know what time it is?” asked Jonathon staring intensely at Marissa. She straightened her back and raised her eyebrow at him.
“Your point is?” she asked him back in a hard tone.
“It’s five in the morning!” he told her irritated.
“Yeah and I was having a fun night with my girls.” She clipped back.
“We were worried that something had happened on your way back” Ralph spoke up and frowned as Amy lowered her head.
“Why didn’t you all answer your phones?” Noah pressed.
“Um, maybe because we were at a club. You know they have very loud music?” Marie shook her head at the dumb question. Her fuzzy drunk mind thought it was hilarious and soon she started laughing; the other girls followed suit.
Her arm was gently pulled as she looked up to see Noah smiling and pulling her upstairs. Once in the room she took off her heals and moaned as she stretched her feet and curled her toes into the soft carpet.
“Angel, please don’t do that” Noah said in a strained voice as he took a step closer. Marie raised her head and a slow smirk slowly spread across her face.
“Do what?” she asked innocently; pushing Noah back slowly until he lay back on the bed.
“You’re drunk Angel; let’s go to sleep.” He said gulping as she slowly swiped her curled hair over one shoulder. Tilting her head to the side and reaching for the zipper that was on her side; looking at Noah the whole time with a sexy smile.
“I don’t want to sleep tonight.” She dragged her hand down with the zipper ever so slowly that Noah growled with impatience.
The short deep purple dress suddenly slid down her body and Marie climbed on top of Noah seductively. “Do you still want me to go to sleep?” she asked between kisses down his jaw as her hand trailed down his stomach to play with the waistband of his basketball shorts.
A low throaty growl escaped Noah’s lips and he flipped her around smashing his lips to hers.
