"Wait he kissed you?!" Joel said over Skype.

"Yes." I said as I pulled my hair back.

"Did you kiss back? I mean its okay if you did, I honestly don't care."

"No I didn't kiss back. Why would I kiss someone who I'm not really in love with."

"Not really in love with him? So you like him? Like there's something there?" He said starting to get mad.

"No there's nothing there Joel! He's such a good friend. And calm down don't get mad."

"Don't get mad? Of course I'm going to get mad. He kissed you! You! My best friend!" He said loudly.

"Okay yes best friends. We're not dating or anything, If we were yea I will understand why you will get mad but since we're not-"

"I actually thought we had something for each other. But obviously you didn't."

"Joel I-"

"Zandra." I look over to the door and saw Zack there. Great perfect timing.

"Hi Zack um fuck," I mumbled, "Um you could go ahead and put your backpack on my chair I'll be right there. Joel I got to go."

"Oh of course you do go ahead and have fun with your little boyfriend." He said sarcastically.

"Joel what is up with you? You never acted like this!" I said started to get a little furious.

"Oh nothing anyways I got to go bye!" He hung up and I sighed.

"Are you okay?" Zack asked as he got his chemistry book out.

"Yes just a little fight. It's fine anyways lets start working on the project." I said.

It's now 8 o'clock I've been texting and calling Joel but he won't answer. I called Patty to see whats up and all she told me that he's pretty busy. I'm pretty sure she's lying for him. Eventually I stopped trying. I guess i did really hurt him. But I didn't do or say anything that offended him, right?

I signed and went to bed early. I turned off the light and went to sleep.

I turned off my alarm. I didn't really wanted to go to school today. I'll just tell my aunt I have a stomach ache. I closed my eyes once again and slept for a little longer.

"Zandra! Wait why are still in pj's?" Angelina said after she removed the covers.

"I don't feel good." I told her.

"Want me to tell my mom?"

"Yes please." I said as pulled the covers up to my shoulders.

A few minutes later, my tia was in my room. "Mija what's wrong?" She asked as she touch my forehead.

"My stomach hurts." I lied.

She sighed before she spoke. "Tell me what's really wrong?"

"I'm not in the mood to go to school, I got in a fight with Joel about Zack."

"Okay I'll let you stay home for today. But I'm going to be busy today. So here's $200 to go shopping. You could only have Jasmine and one of your friends from school to give you your class work over. And yea. Please take care mija okay. I know you and Joel will stop being mad at each other. But next time this happens, please don't let it affect you. Because I know yoir stronger than thank and you need your education. I love you so much Zandrita." She kissed my forehead and left with the money on my nightstand.

I grabbed my phone and called Franny. "Yes Zandrna?" She answered.

"Hey Franny, um could you get me today's class work and homework for all the classes we have together and tell Zachary the same for chemistry, please." I told her.
