Chapter 9

*Zandra's pov*
Well today is the day Joel's audition airs on T.V. . We have talked literally everyday. We saw each other once again at my mother's funeral.

I was surprised that my dad was there. I only saw him I literally didn't wanted to talk to him. He left me when I was young. I knew how he looks like because my mom will show me pictures in the past. He wanted to talk to me but I just walked past by him.

Now I'm living "the rich life." My aunt, cousin and I will literally go shopping every weekend and buy the whole store. Not really but we do buy a lot of clothes. And my little cousin and I will go to concerts and fairs and wherever sh wants to go together. I actually have met all of my Idols already. Ariana Grande, Ed Sheeran, Shawn Mendes, One Direction minus Zayn, and Prince Royce oh and Rihanna!

Meeting One Direction was a dream comw true. They are so sweet and kind. Ugh I wish I was over 18 so I could date Liam! I don't care he's taken he's still mine.

I also started school already. It's a private school so of course I have to wear uniform there. But honestly I love this school. Its so advance and it's a challenge for me since I have all honors. Yes I have some friends. Two guy friends and three lady friends. They're so sweet and kind to me. Unlike the kids at my other school.

I continue watching La Banda with my little cousin Angelina. She's 10 years old and really pretty like my tia but a bit too spoiled. But I love her to death.

Then I saw Joel on the television in the living room. I texted him before the show started and asked him if he made it and told me to watch the show. But ugh I'm so impatient!

Everyone started ranting "si si si si," and so did I. He ended up getting 77% "OMG HE MADE IT IN!" I yelled. I looked over to my cousin to see her reaction of me.

"Do you know him or something?" She asked giving me this weird look.

"I love him." I respond, "Now shut up"

The judges started to talk to him then he began to sing. He sounded beautifully but he needed to practice more. I stand in front of the television. "Ugh come on Joel! I know you could do better than this." I said quietly. Laura gave him another chance. He started to sing "I See Fire" by Ed Sheeran. Everyone started to cheer and so did I. Once he finished it was time for the judges to talk. I am nervous as heck!

"He sings good." Angelina said.

"Yes I know shhh!" I told her.

So far its one yes from Laura. Now its time for Ricky to decide. "Para mi es un no." He said.

"What?!" Angelina and I yelled.

"Yo quiero que Guadalajara que se repensara aquí Sí" Alejandro said. Angelina and I started to scream!

"He made it he made he made it!" I yelled.

"I know! He's an amazing singer!" She said.

"I'm going to my room to finish my homework." I told her and went to my room upstairs.

My room is all white. The walls are white my bed frame is also white but my sheets and pillows are baby blue now. They used to be white also. The reason why they we're white is because my aunt didn't knew what color I liked. But its okay I love how my room looks like now. Over my bed, there's pictures hanging from my Christmas lights. I went over to my desk to finish my Math homework.

But before I do, I face time Joel. He answered after 3 rings. "Hey Zandy." He said sleepy.

"Hey Joey, I'm sorry did I woke you up?" I asked feeling bad.

"Yes but it's okay, I wanted to talked to you all day long anyways." He said rubbing his eyes.

"I just wanted to congratulate you. My cousin and I both screamed of joy when you made it in." I told him.

"Haha really? Well thank you very much. Did you see what I was wearing at the audition." He said.

"Yes! You wore the anchor necklace I gave you."

"Yup, I told you didn't I?"

"Yea. I'm also wearing the necklace you gave me. I haven't took it off, well I have when I shower obviously." I laughed lightly and so did Joel.

"How's school going by the way?" He asked.

"Great! I'm taking all honors and I actually made some friends. Two guys and three girls, don't worry though I mostly hang out with the girls." I told him.

"Hm you better be because your off limits from all the boys around the world. Because you belong to me." He sang horribly at the last part. But I knew he did it on purpose.

"Um Joel promise me not to sing Taylor Swift during the competition, because that sounded horrible." I told him. He pouted and I gave him a kissy face.

"Meanie."

"Love you. Anyways guess what?" I said excitedly.

"What?"

"I'm actually going to start an acting career!" I told him.

"Really? Zandra you dream is coming true already! What is it about?" He asked.

"Um I'm not sure. My aunt just sighed me up. All I know is a t.v. show on ABC 7 and I'm co-staring it." I told him.

"That's amazing! See your dreams are coming true before mine." He pouted.

"Well not exactly, we haven't filmed anything yet and it's going to be a while until we do."

"Do you have the script already?" He asked.

"Yea I haven't touched it because at the moment I'm really busy with projects and tests and everything."

"Do you have homework now?" He asked.

"Yes but all I need to finish is one math problem which I still don't get, but don't worry I'll have it done but tonight."

"You better. I was about to offer to sing to you to sleep but you have homework to do. I'm really tired because you know time zones, I love you Zandra, for sure I'll talk to you tomorrow. Bye!" He said as he wave goodbye.

"Bye." I said and hung up. I put my phone down and finish my homework.
