My Best Friend || Joel Pimentel

Chapter 30

Zandra pov:
Wow today has been such amazing day. My best friend is now my boyfriend. We both agree to not make it public yet until I'm to get the fans reactions, if you know what I mean.

Oh yea I got fired. For the T.V show. They already found my replacement. I honestly don't care. Epically now that I get to spend a lot of time with my friends.

"Guys it's official." I said still hugging Joel with my right arm.

"What do you mean?" Celine asked.

"We're official." Joel said. He then held my right hand and everyone got the clue.

"OMG IT'S ABOUT TIME!" They all mostly said.

The rest of the day we were just playing games, like Uno and Twister and Heads Up. Then later we watched movies until all of us fell asleep.

I immediately woke up the next morning. I tried to get out of bed but I couldn't since I was in Joel's arms. But somehow I managed to get out of his grip and head to the bathroom.

I pulled up the toilet seat and started to vomit. I heard footsteps quickly running up to me. I knew it was Joel and he grabbed my hair and put it out of my way. He then rubbed my back while I was vomiting.

No I didn't drink last night, and Joel and I didn't do it last night either. It must be the stomach flu or something. I then stopped and flushed the toilet. I put the toilet seat down and rested my head on there just in case I vomit again and because I'm too weak to move.

Joel then picked me up and put me back to bed. "Zany want a tea or something?" Joel asked.

"Yea." I weakly said. He then kissed my forehead and quickly ran off.

I tried to sleep it off but I couldn't. Every time I move, it hurts so much. Joel handed me the tea and I slowly drank it. Once I finished I felt like throwing up again. I quickly ran to the bathroom and vomit again and again and again.

"Zandra every time I give you something it eat you vomit. And you say you can't walk. I'm taking you to the hospital." Joel said.

"No! I hate that place, I just got out like 3 days ago or something." I said wanting to yell. With every word I said there is a huge pain in my stomach.

"Too bad." He picked me up and put me in the car. He then started to drive to the hospital. Thankfully none of my friends are awake so they don't have to worry about anything, but sooner or later they will find out that Joel and I aren't there.

Joel's pov:
Well after a few test it turns out Zandra has to get surgery to remove her appendix. I texted the guys and some of her friends to keep them updated. I'm really scared and worried that something wrong might happen during the surgery.

I decided to walk around and maybe get something to eat. I went to Starbucks across the street and it was a bad idea. "JOEL!" "JOEY!" "DAD!" "DADDY!" "PAPI!" I heard fans scream.

I was mobbed by all of them. I entered Starbucks hoping they will let me hide behind the counter or something. "Hey! over here." I heard the girl say. I then jumped over the counter and sat there for a while.

"Get up they're gone." She said as she gave me a hand. I got up with her assistance and I accidentally pulled her too much making her fall on my chest. I quickly helped her up.

"Thank you um," I looked down at her name tag, "Sol." I smiled at her.

"No problem Joel." She said smiling.

"Wait you know who I am?" I asked.

"Hey are you going to take my order or not?" A cranky old man said.

"Yes! I'll be right back Joel." She said.

I walked to a near by table and just sat there going through Twitter. "Hey." Sol said then sat down across from me.

"Hey." She then put a drink and a cookie in front of me. "Thanks." I said not giving her any attention since I'm still worrying about Zandra.

"So I saw you coming out of the hospital, is everything okay?"

"My girlfriend is in surgery."

"Girlfriend? You have a girlfriend that we don't know about?" She said kind of over protectively which was kind of cute.

"Oh you guys know about her. She's all over my instagram."

"All over your instagram, hmm. Is it Anna? No I hate that bitch. Mmmm is it Zandra?"

"Yes but promise me you won't tell anyone, she's not ready to tell the world and I told her I won't until she's ready to make it public."

"You're secret is safe with me. And to be honest you guys are goals, like being best friends since kindergarten. I mean just goals." She said.

"You follow Zandra?" I asked because she's always posting pictures of our childhood.

"Yes, whoever you follow I follow." She giggled. I was about to say something but my phone rang once. I checked to see who it was and it was Celine.

Celine 🐻: come to her hospital room asap!!!!!!!!

"Hey Sol, I have to go. It was really nice having some company." I said as I grab my drink. "Oh and I'll pay you back later." I said.

"No don't worry about it I'm here every weekday so bring Zandra for some free drinks or something." She said.

"Thank you." I smiled at her. From there I left hoping I don't get mobbed again.
