"Girl, he did what now?" Tori asked as she looked at me and snapped her fingers.
Yesterday was the worst night ever. My headache was gone but the memory that I so wished would be forgotten still stays fresh in my mind. The girls decided that we all should have a sleepover today. They didn't know what exactly happened at the party but they did know it was one of the worst things that happened to me, and were here to support me. They were honestly the greatest friends I could ask for. What would I do without them.
Teresa's face was filled with anger. "That stupid, supposedly 'hot' face of his is gonna become ugly. He better get ready." She said as she cracked her knuckles.
Nayla was shocked and had been stoning at the edge of my living room's sofa ever since I told them what happened.
"Nayla?" I called out to her, waving my hands up and down in front of her face. She quickly snapped out of her 'stoning position' and looked at me.
"I can't believe Ian would do that. He's Ian freaking Scott! How could he turn into one of those low life people! How dare he!" She shouted as she stared into the space in front of her and her face slowly scrunched up in disgust.
"I know right? Well this is why, you don't ever go for the popular guys, they're total assholes. Especially, him." Tori hisses.
I shivered as the whole incident instantly replayed in my mind as Tori mentions "him", I instinctively and immediately wrap my arms around myself, shutting my eyes as I tried to push those thoughts away. Seeing how much it affected me, Tori quickly sat beside me, pulling me into a hug as my head rests on her shoulder.
"Hey, I'm sorry. I shouldn't have left you there. Damn, you should have even came with me to the toilet." She said as she stroked my hair, making me smile a little.
"Thanks for being here guys. It means a lot." I thanked them as I hugged Tori back.
"Alright. Today we put this mess behind us and just enjoy a girls day okay?" Teresa demands as she pulled us into a group hug. We all agreed. I wasn't gonna let anyone ruin my day today. Tanner was out with his friends today while Mum will be working late, so we had the house all to ourselves.
---------------------
After a long day shopping, eating and watching rented movies together, everyone of us were dead tired. It was now 10pm and we were all getting ready to sleep since there's school tomorrow.
"Hey guys, I texted Tanner at 6 just now to ask him where he was but he hasn't replied and its late... Isn't it weird?" I asked them as they sat on the mattress.
"Maybe he's just too busy having fun. Don't worry I'm sure he'll be fine." Nayla replied.
"What if he's drunk?" It was Tori's turn to worry.
"Come on I'm pretty sure even if he's drunk, he'd know where to go. Guys stop worrying already and just sleep." Teresa stopped us, annoyed. Well, she was right. There was no point in worrying. Plus, when Teresa is annoyed, everyone knew better than to agitate her further or god knows what she might do to you. She's a silent murderer.
After awhile, we switched off the lights and everyone's breathing soon became steady while Nayla snored a little. I tossed and turned around in my bed, unable to fall asleep. My mind felt empty, there wasn't anything I was thinking about, but I just can't fall asleep.
