The memory of Rizal has a numerous skyline creations giving a great feast for his contributions to our beloved country. They have been remembered adorable for generations that we can't deny the essence and the spirit. It's just like a simply theater with splendid actions in split seconds into great memories, the Rizal Theater which was one of the forgotten (somehow) beautiful old building in the Philippines.

It was named as José Rizal memorial theater being resurrected at Makati with its centennial of 1961 for his birthday. Before building this structure, the spot was served as residents of exclusive subdivisions in and around the Makati for over three decades. The nearly finished Rizal Theater was originally part of the Rizal Memorial Cultural Complex but eventually failed to complete because of the lack of funds.

The theater did not have a statue or even a bust of Rizal. But it had Rizal's signature signifying on its fly tower, served as theater's logo. A film production and venue with its balcony, loge, and orchestra sections.

It was also well known for Leila's Cafe with many favorite dishes could satisfy your Filipino craving like Arroz a la Cubana. When the theater no longer exists, the said cafe transfered and re-opened in Greenbelt with a new name - Cafe Rizal.

The National Artist, Juan Nakpil, was the one who designed the Rizal Theater. It's so beautiful indeed if the theater would exists in our lifetime. But like memories of Rizal, it will never vanished or just faded.
