~Alone in the room~

•Vanessa POV•

I woke up the next morning with a huge smile on my face for two reasons. One, our Vegas show was tonight! And two I couldn't wait to see Jack! After last night I couldn't stop thinking about him.

At around 5pm, me and Henley headed to the MGM and went backstage to get ready. I hadn't seen the boys all day and assumed they were getting ready at the hotel.

"Hey Henley, do you mind getting me a little dolled up for the show?" I asked her.

Henley was great with fashion and makeup and all the girly things that i have yet to advance too.

"Are you kidding me? That's like asking me if i want to meet Channing Tatum , of course!!" she said excited.

Henley made me look like a whole different person. She chose bold colors such as red and black for my outfit. A leather, strapless black crop top, high waisted dark jeans, red pumps, red lips, and a low slightly messy bun with my baby hairs on the sides of my face curled.

"Henley! I look amazing! You know, sometimes i think you're in the wrong profession."

"Oh please, makeup has always been my backup plan if this whole magic stuff didnt work out," she said with a little giggle.

It was 9:30, only 30 more minutes till our huge show. I was a bit nervous because we had never done a trick so big and i wasn't sure if we would be able to pull it off.

"Knock, knock," Daniel said knocking on the open door and walking in, as well as Merrit and Jack.

"Hey guys," Henley and I said.

God Jack looked handsome. He was dressed in a black and red button up that was tucked into his jeans with black suspenders. We were almost twinning.

"Wow... Vanessa.. you look.. stunning," Jack said almost smiling and looking at my whole outfit.

"Speak for yourself, Jack," I said turning around with a huge smile on my face.

"Danny can you help me with uh, that one part where we all-" Henley was clearly trying to leave me and Jack alone. Daniel caught on.

"Oh uh yeah, of course come on," Daniel said after an awkward few seconds.

Merrit was leaning against the door and I was really wanting him to leave. And i guess he read my mind.

"Well, I should go and make sure they don't eat eachother alive," Merrit said sarcastically and walking out slowly.

There it was.... just me and Jack alone in the room. I was scared that he would walk out. I felt my heart beating so fast. I thought i was about to have a heart attack. Then, Jack closed the door and came closer.

•Jack POV•

I was so glad that they all got a clue and left. I was finally going to be able to express how i feel. She looked so damn beautiful. She really was a goddess. I closed the door, hoping she wouldn't freak out and leave.

"You really do look amazing," I said trying to not burst out and say i love you so much.

"Aw Jack, i'm not that spec-"

And before she could finish i grabbed her hand and got closer to her our lips almost touching. I could feel her little hairs touching my skin and i could hear her heart beating. I interrupted her.

"Vanessa, you are the most beautiful girl i have ever met in my entire life."

•Vanessa POV•

I couldn't move. It felt like it had been forever to where i hadn't said anything. And then... It finally came out.. the truth of all truths.

"Jack I, I-"

"I love you too."

Slowly our lips began to get closer and closer. They just barely grazed when Merrit came in.

"5 MINUTES TILL SHOWTIME."

Dammit Merrit. I looked down and chuckled a little while smiling.

"Well," Jack said a little dissapointed but also laughing a little.

"Meet me after the show," he said with a wink. And with that he was gone. I took a huge deep breath. I looked in the mirror one last time to fix myself, and i smiled. I ran out of the room and got my microphone on.

"Showtime," I whispered to myself.
