A/N: Eyy!! I added another chapter before chapter 3. Chapter 4 would be Yeniya's wolf encounter. Also gonna add one more chapter after the one where Lyon would explain what he was probably tom if I can.
I hope you'll enjoy this.
Yeniya stared at the shed in front of her. Her eyes were in a shade of dull grey as the seemingly bleak light shined through the roof of the old shack. The forest was studding silent just as the air was cold. There was no happiness in everything she saw. Not even in her own eyes. She could feel it in her soul, the void inside of her.
She braced herself against the trunk of a forest maine tree, wishing that she had bought her jacket. Her bare T-shirt was thin against the cold that left her raw. Watching her undesirable visions always made her want death more than life.
Shaking her head, she quickly dismissed that thought. There were just times where she would ask herself why continue on living when all it gave her was a life she didn't want, but somewhere inside her, something was just telling her to wait. That there was hope, a light at the end of the dark tunnel in her life. A thought that someone would be devastated if she were to die. Funny as it may sound but that was enough to keep her from killing herself.
Pushing her body off the tree, she thought of her options whether to stay here, return to the school or to go back home. She knew staying here wouldn't be the option she would take, not when the vision was still clear as day in her memory. While school might be a good way to avert her thoughts, she just wasn't into the idea.
"Well, home it is then," she said as she started to walk, feeling better than she was a few minutes before. She knew that her father would be livid when he would learn about what she did, but she didn't care. Not when her chocolate drink and her books were waiting for her at home.
She was very eager to leave the place but she wasn't sure where to go. Glancing over the back of the tree, she was sure that it led to towards the school. Looking back at the shed, beside it was another trail. She wasn't sure which path to choose, but opted to take the new trail. After all, her house was just a few yards away from the school itself. She wouldn't get lost.
It seemed that she was right. Trudging up the muddy trail, she could see the back porch of their house. The trail went straight to her the backyard of their house. A smile formed in her face. She could easily go to school or go home without the pain of passing the school entrance, lessening the possibility of her meeting people.
She jumped on the fence that kept their house safe from the wild. It was knee in length so it was pretty easy. She had wondered what was in the architect's mind when she/he made the house. Who or what exactly did the fence protected them from? Anyone could easily sneak in. The fence that surrounded their cabin was something you could see on a gingerbread house.
There was nothing special about Yeniya's backyard. It was as large as fifty square meters with nothing but plants and shrubs that had died out, imposing that it had been a long time since someone had took care of it. A potter trail was in the middle for people to pass towards the backdoor.
Though they just recently moved in but she had no plans to tend plants as she looked over their yard. She weren't compatible with plants or more like plants didn't liked her. She tried to tend one before but it just died. But she was sure her father would most likely do. When she reeked of death, life seemed to glow around her dad.
Walking past the backyard, she wounded to the front door. She felt bad when her muddy shoes dirtied the mahogany floor as she threaded her way to the porch. Her father spent hours cleaning the floor while she emptied their belongings to their respective place inside the house.
