Chapter 4

After the conversation I got sent back to my "room." I sigh and look for something to do. I glance at the book shelf and shake my head no. I am looking for was to stop my bordom, not spark anymore. 'History,' I say to myself and make ganging noises.
I walk over to the table with the lamp on it and open up the drawer. In it was a book. "Harry Potter and the Prisoner on Askaban." Startled I drop the book. "How did they know?" I think to myself. I leave the book there and sit down on the couch.
"Hey," the door opens and Ash's head peeks in. I wave him in an pat my hand on the couch next to me. He comes in, closes the door behind him and sits down next to me.
"I am extremely bored," I state and gesture to the room. "What am I supposed to do?" I sigh.
"I brought you something," Ash says. He pulls out a small box from his pocket and hands it to me. Curiously I take it and open it.
In it was Gameboy. "I haven't seen one of these in years!" I exclaim. Ash smiles.
I look at the game that was in it. "Zoo Tycoon" was in it. I turn on the game boy and turn it off. "Thank you." I say gratefully.
"I figured you would want something to pass the time." He explains.
I smile at him. There was an uncomfortable silence the a bang. "ASH!!!" A female. Voice yelled. "GET DOWN HERE!!!" Ash looked at me apologetically and left. I sighed and turned on the game boy.
I heard another loud bang down stairs and a yelp. I try to tune it out but I can't help being curious. I walk over to the door and fortunately it unlocked. I twist the handle and open the door. I look around trying to remember which way to go.
After pondering for a moment I decide to wing it and go left. I come up to a set of stairs and quietly I walk down them. At the end of the stairs was a door.
Quietly I walk over to the door and open it. It lead to a closet full of jackets. I restrain myself from sighing with disappointment. I turn tithe door across from it and try to open it but it is locked. I reach above the sill I the door and search for the key. My hand scrapes against it and the key falls to the floor with a clang. Quickly I pick it up and shove it into the key hole. I twist the knob and run outside.
I sprit down the twisting drive way but get cut off by a car pulling into the driveway. Wide eyed the driver stares at me and I make a run for it.
I glance behind me and see the car speeding to catch up to me. I run across the winding drive way and into the woods. I run for my life. If only my gym coach could see me now.
The woods end and a street appears. I go right this time only getting about 10 feet before I'm tackled to the ground.
"Nice try," says a sarcastic voice. I look up to see the man with the scar. I try to wriggle out of his grasp but it only tightens.
He lifts me to my feet and hauls me back down the driveway and into the house. Waiting at the door was the 2 women and the short man.
"Thank you, Trip," said the woman with black curly hair.
The scared man behind me replies with: "Welcome, miss." I try to get free of his grasp again but it doesn't work.
"Bring her to her room please." Says the blonde woman.
"Of course, ma'am." Trip replies. He pushes me to the stairs and throws my into my 'room.'
The door clicks and I let out a breath I didn't know I was holding in.
I curl up on the couch with the pillow and blanket that Ash gave me before and finally fall asleep.
