Their wings flapped against the wind before they cleared the clouds. Their large eyes searched the ground and spotted something that hadn't been there before. It was a giant coliseum, bigger than anything it had ever seen before. Pictures and scenes passed through its mind before it roared ferociously.
Blood. It could smell blood and lots of it. The dragon went to dive down when something hit it on their back. The winged creature turned around to see little creatures coming at it in swarms. They blasted the creatures with fire, however the monsters didn't disappear like the others had. It roared again and attacked with their claws and teeth.
When they defeated all of the little pests, the ground started to shake again and the dragon looked towards the coliseum. Inside the ring now was a giant beast that had veins that looked like rivers of blood. The giant's skin was the color of blood and its hair was a dark ash color.
The dragons eyes narrowed and then it dove in for the kill.
