So Aang had his trial and failed miserably, Kyoshi herself had showed up and pretty much confessed to the entire thing but lucky for Aang the town was attacked by the same bandits we had faced the other day, so the mayor gave Aang community service to fight off the bandits. The town changed Avatar day to celebrate the day Aang had saved the town, with un-fried doe and people cheering we left the town behind and headed for Gaoling.

Gaoling was a decent size earth kingdom village, we had arrived this morning just on the out skirts of town, we left Appa hidden within the forest while the rest of us headed into town.

"It's pricey ... but I really do like it" Sokka had stopped out the front of a small stall, he was just looking at a very nice looking satchel.

"Then you should get it, you deserve something nice" Katara said while Aang and I stood waiting outside of the stall, when a man handing out fliers stopped right in front of us.

"Psst, psst! Hey, you kids love earthbending? You like ... throwing rocks? Then check out Master Yu's Earthbending Academy." Aang took the flier, "There's a coupon on the back! the first lesson is free!" Aang said reading the flier carefully.  "Hey maybe this Master Yu is the earthbending teacher you have been looking for" I said reading the flier over his shoulder.

"I do, don't I? But no, it's too expensive. I shouldn't" Sokka changed his mind again. I groaned loudly slumping down on the table the satchel was sat on.

"Come on, Just get the bag, we got given a flier from a man, it's for an Earthbending school lets go check it out" I said trying to pull Sokka away from the stall, Sokka chuckled at my attempts to pull him away, "Okay, okay" we started to walk down the street  but Sokka never took his eyes off the bag, I let go of his hand the second we stepped out of the shops and he basically ran straight back to the stall.

"You know what? I'm gonna get it" I groaned even louder then before and followed Sokka into the stall to pay for the satchel.

We waited outside of the academy as Aang went in to find out if Master Yu was the earthbending teacher for him.

"Do you really think Master Yu could be his earthbending teacher?" Sokka asked as he sat down beside Katara and I, he kept looking happily down at his new bag.

"I don't know, maybe" Katara said simply shrugging her shoulders.

"I hope so, how nice would it be if it was this easy to find his teacher? do you think Master Yu would have a problem coming with us around the world?" I laid back on the ground and stared up into the blue sky.

"I don't think it'll be that easy" Katara said sighing rather loudly. Katara had been seeming more and more upset recently I wonder what was going on?

"Are you okay Katara? you haven't been yourself recently" I asked sitting back up and meeting her gaze. Katara looked at me and then to her brother behind me, "It's nothing" Katara got to her feet and walked over to a small shop stall.

"That can't be good" I whispered watching her carefully.

"What?" Sokka asked looking from me to his little sister, he could be so clueless sometimes.

"Don't worry, I'll fix it" I said kissing Sokka's cheek. "So do you like your bag?" Sokka and I waited on the steps of the academy together for almost an hour before Aang finally came out.

"Ehhh, he's not the one" Aang said hitting the side of his head and making sand fall out of his ear, we all went to leave, followed closely behind by two students.

"I think The Boulder's going to win back the belt at Earth Rumble VI" One of the students said.

"He's going to have to fight his way through the best earthbenders in the world to get a shot at the champ" said the other student, they had gained Aangs attention who wasted no time in asking them exactly what they where talking about.

"Excuse me, but where is this earthbending tournament, exactly?" Aang asked and the students stopped and turned looking rather annoyed.

"It's on the island of Noneya ... "Noneya" business!" the first student said sarcastically before walking away and leaving Aang looking disappointed but Sokka laughed at the joke and put an arm over Aangs shoulder.

"Oh, I got to remember that one!" Sokka said wiping a tear away as he spoke, I glared at him and shoved my elbow into his ribs.

"Ow! What was that for?" Sokka rubbed his ribs and I pointed to Aang who still looked upset.

"Oh, sorry Aang" Sokka apologized.
