Senior Year

Why Not?

Getting off the airplane half asleep is not the greatest thing to do. Sleep walking I call it. I didn't even know the way I was going but I was walking somewhere. Right when I was going to sit down I felt a hand touch me. "Alex your half asleep let me carry you to the car." As soon as I wrap my arms around the stranger I knew it was Cameron. I didn't even noticed my mother behind him. I kinda felt bad because my laziness made her carry my bags. Sorry mom.

Honestly I didn't remember the drive home. But when the car stopped I was aware that I was home. Home sweet home. "Cameron can you carry her to her room please." My mom whispered.
"Yeah of course. " Cameron responded. "Thank you hun."
When his big, strong hands came in contact with my back I couldn't resist the smile he planted on my face. As he carried me to my room I couldn't stop thinking of how wonderful would it be if I can stay in his arms forever. Safe from any pain in the world. Safe from Dylan and the hurt he caused. As he layed me down carefully and put my blanket over me I felt finally safe and comfortable
"It's nice to have you back now, Alex." He said kissing my forehead.

When my alarm went off I realized we we're back to reality. Dylan is having a baby, Cameron was Cameron, I was on better terms with my dad, I lost my virginity, etc. Having to let go of Dylan felt like a weight got lifted from me. Don't get me wrong I loved him and I always would but he has a life of his own. It was just time to separate.

"Good morning Alex. How was your flight?" In the middle of yawning I answer
"A bit tiring but good."
"Hun. Call Cameron he wants to talk to you. Better said wanting to talk to you."
"Okay."
Stretching my way through the hall way back to my room I dialed in Cameron's number.
"Hey sucker how was the flight?"
"Good I guess."
"Come over for a bit."
"Let me guess... Video game time??"
"No."
"I'll be their in a bit."
"Okay."
For some reason he seemed odd. Happy is the word.
"As soon as I walk in the room their were balloons, flower's and then their was Cameron with a poster that said 'Will you go to prom with me?
As soon as he asked I ran and gave him the biggest hug of all.
"Of course I will you dork!"
"Wait, really?"
"Yes." I said bursting in laughter.

I'm sorry guys this chapter is short. I really haven't had time to update sports and school keep me away. I hope you enjoyed this little chapter.
