Back To Where We Were

After the days go by I noticed that my dad has been happier than usual. He seemed like a teenager stuck in love again. But the unfortunate thing is today is just not my last day at the lake house but my last day in New York. Me and Dylan seemed like children all over again. We swam in till we couldn't no more, we got to catch up on everything about our lives. After the night we spent together everything changed we we're closer than we were. But we we're both aware of how things we're going to happen. I guess we we're both mature about our situation. All the time I spent hating the guy without really knowing what really happened. I wasn't good enough for his parents but I understood why they thought that. Of course I was good enough, but I guess people close their options when they can. I have learned that love is a war and war is love. You make the decision to fight for what you want. Love is something different on a emotional level. It changes people for the good. Me & Dylan learned its not easy when you love someone. It has it's big complications that we faced but the big one we haven't was what we're we going to do when I left back to California. We told ourselves to not think about it in till it's here. & I guess it's here.

"It was so nice to meet you in a better sense Alex. I hope you nothing but the best. This is not a good bye. Ill see you the day of your graduation." Rosemary said while giving me the biggest tightest hug.

"Thank you Rose for everything. Thank you for making my father happy I couldn't thank you any more."

"No need to thank me. I love him. We both are happy."

Next. "It was nice meeting you Tiffany. Like I told you love yourself and your baby. Their would be a person out their for you." I said as I continued to hug her.

"I will Alex. Thank you for everything."

"Your welcome" I said offering her a smile.

They both enter the nice expensive car of Rose's. Then their he was standing their waiting for his turn.

"I love you don't forget that." He whispers in my ear as he hugged me.

"I love you too. Hope you get everything figured out soon." I said.
I can feel his beautiful smile against my shoulder. Which makes me smile even bigger than I am already.

"I will & I'll return to you." And with words he releases me. As he walked to the car I mouth 'thank you' he nods in return. Bye Dylan. After they left, I release the air I was holding in for a while.
"Dad?"
"Yeah Alex. What's up?" He response while putting our luggage in the car.
"I'm really going to miss you." And with that said I ran to him.
"Alex, I'm going to miss you too." He said as he kissed the top of my head.
"Now get in the car before you miss your flight."
"Okay." I respond from his chest. Wiping away the tears I had.

"Dad, why did you and mom adopt me?" I always wanted to ask him. He was aware of everything that I have faced in my last life.
"Alex. You we're the cutest child I ever seen. I fell in love with you instantly. Your beautiful little smile lighted something in me and your mom that we thought we never had."

They seen something in the poor girl. They we're my parents no matter what. I have loved them since the day I seen them. But they didn't know how he marked me life forever. I started to think about all my scares. They had no idea why I had nightmares or would cry at of no where. They didn't feel or see the horror my eyes did. I searched and screamed but their was no one. No one I say.

But they sure did give me enough of their suffocating love. Which I couldn't change for the world. I've always wanted to see the world through their eyes. The world with a smile without a harsh past. But I got the life I had.

Turning around waving goodbye to my dad was the hardest thing I had ever done. Me and him we're so much closer now on every level. We we're in a better stage of life. I didn't hate him anymore. I let go of it and moved on just like with Dylan. I love this old man with my life I thought as I seen my dad for the last time before aborting the plain. Bye dad.

As I sat in my seat ready to take off my phone vibrates from my back pocket.
'Phones on airplane mode for safety reasons' was what I read on the little sticker in front of me. I was going to do as said I started reading the message.

Hey, hope to see you soon. I have a suprise for you. Now do as the air pilot said. Put your phone on airplane mode. For safety reasons. :) -Cameron

I couldn't resist but smile at the message. Cameron. Haven't thought about the guy in a while. Surprise? Huh. I told them no surprises. But knowing him, he's more suborn than me. So it doesn't suprise me what so ever. & with that thought at hand I was slipping away in sleep. Letting go of everything and everyone.
