     In a crummy little high school in Colorado, a teenage boy who had moved from Russia to the odd state a few years ago is who this story revolves around. Aleksandr is his name, and no, he isn’t a loner, or a new kid; no, in fact, he is a senior at the school now. He has friends, great friends, who have been his friends ever since he moved away from his native country; James, Steven, Jordan, Dan, Seamus, Max, and Nick, you know, the good ol’ crew. He likes to play the guitar and the ukulele, which makes him seem all deep to a lot of people. Basically, he seems to be the epitome of perfect to a large portion of attendees [mostly girls] at the high school of Dellworthy in which he attends; what, with his perfect-setting wavy brown hair, and those brown eyes to accompany that great small smile he flaunts- it’s pretty, oh, what’s the word? Intoxicating, as most girls would call it? So, anyways, you’d think that a pretty average life would be matched with this pretty perfect guy, yeah? No, well, at least- not really. The only things that Aleks isn’t fond of in his life at the moment- are the facts that, one, well… Aleks is in denial. A deep burrowing feeling that digs into his brain, constantly. And two, he has very floppy seemingly boneless dog ears and a fluffy long hair tail. So, yeah, he’s not exactly perfect when you know his darkest secrets. Branching off of the information you know of that he is in denial, he knows what his sexual preference and orientation is, yet he refuses that is who he truly is. He tries to convince himself that he likes women, and that he likes manly things like sports and stuff, but- deep inside he knows that he is attracted to men, and likes to do somewhat girly things. He has had infrequent flings with women in the past, and he just recently realized why those relationships didn’t work; because he didn’t show any genuineness or sincerity in intimacy towards those girls that he went out with for a couple of days- he didn’t experience anything along the lines of proper love with them at all. Bluntly, the Russian is bewildered and troubled of what he really is; magnetism and appeal to males isn’t what he expected himself to find himself have. While having to deal with the refusal problem, Aleks is tortured even more with the fact that he has dog ears and a tail. What kind of freak is he? He knows people won’t accept him if they knew about his true self, being a homosexual neko… So he keeps that information disclosed; no one knows of his secrets, no one except his friend Seamus, but even Seamus doesn’t know about the sexuality problem.

     Now, after school starts once more for Aleks’ last year, a new student transfers to Dellworthy to complete his high school career there as well, and Aleks becomes gradually infatuated with the newbie after he gets acknowledged by his friends and starts hanging out with them more. What was his name again…? Eddie?
