Chapter Nine - My past

A month! It has been a whole month since I & Bri had that fight in the cafeteria, the truth is as much as I hate her for saying those words I really miss her. Ian & I ain't pretty much close after that well since he is into her & also he is senior so it's hard to meet most times. A lot of things have changed within this month. My dad & I have been doing great & I have also talked to mom yesterday & she said that she will come after a month. I & Jacob have also been in a hot romantic relationship but still I haven't given him my first kiss which makes him very angry sometimes. I like him so much but I can't just give him my firsts yet , it's just I'm not ready. The girls have also been a good friends to me despite of the rumors which I'm thankful for. And here I'm today at Emma's house for sleepover with the girls. Currently I'm in her bedroom & so are the others.

"Bella! Hello? Where did you go?"

"Oh sorry what were you saying?"

"Emily here asked you how your relationship with Jacob is going?" Riley said.   I don't know why but this week all they will ask me is how my relationship is going, what's up with that? I'll answer anyways bc I dint wanna lose another friend.

"It has been great, he asked me on a date for tomorrow last night." I squealed. Emily just chuckled at my behavior & said, "Well good for you, you have got a nice piece of man there."

"Thanks Emily."

"No problem what are friends for?" Yeah, what are friends for if they can't understand each other? Sorry Bri but now I see it this way, you don't qualify as my friend let alone best friend.

"Oh btw Bella I was dreading for asking you a question?" This time it was Kesha. I wonder what she wants to ask this time.

"Ok what is it?"

"You haven't told us about your past or anything, it will be good if you tell us sth about yourself." She demanded. "Oh & don't forget about your previous crushes." Emma concluded while winking at me.

"Why do you want to know?" I asked. I mean I already know what the answer could be but asking will be goo if they have better explanation.

"Since we have been best-friends for months it's good to know about each other's past & secrets, right?" Riley explained. "Plus if we don't know about each other, then how can we be defined as best-friends?" Kesha pointed. I think they have a point there, if they are my best friends & if I trust them they should know about my secrets I guess.
"Alright but please don't interrupt me when I'm talking just let me finish then you can ask me questions, ok?"
"Okay!" They all agreed. & I started tell them about myself which I didn't even tell for Bri.

"I lived for 15 years in Switzerland which you all know, & lots of things have happened when I lived there but still I prefer it to here.
I used to have lots of friends there & I was so social with people. Unlike here I used to have lots of guy-friends & also lots of crushes but most of the time I make my crushes my guy-friends so I lose nothing.
As I said there were lots of my crushes but only two of them have kept their places in my heart well except for Jacob of course." I smiled thinking about him, my boyfriend .

I turn to look at them & they look like they are fighting not to interrupt me when they are dying inside to at least mention a word. I just shake my head & continued my story.

"Their names were Nathan & James. Nathan was my best friend at my childhood & he didn't know that I had a huge crush on him but as I said I keep my crushes close as guy friends so I didn't lose him. Sadly he moved out of town because of some family business.

After sometimes around my age of  14 a new boy moved to town. His name was James & he was sixteen at the time, he & his family moved to next door so he was my new neighbor.

Things get embarrassing  at first especially when our families gather for dinner including as & we have to sit there & smile awkwardly but as time went by we grow close & also will hang out after school sometimes bc we were in differ schools.

I knew I liked him for long but I didn't tell him but I guessed he liked me to at the time & we were so cheesy. One day I went to his house just to hang out like always bc I kinda missed him, his parents were out for business & I had an extra key so I just opened the door for myself.
I made my way to  his bedroom to see if he slept or not but I was greeted by something else. He was in bed with a girl around his age kissing.

I froze at my spot, I didn't know what to say or do they still haven't noticed me & with the current situation they were in I don't think they will have never noticed me so I just kept quite & turned my foots to home & cried the whole night in my bed.
He tried to talk to me occasionally after that day but I was so mad to even explain myself so I just shut him out. Finally my worst dreams came true & he started a relationship with that girl, I know it's my fault for shutting him out & not explain my self but I still had hoped he would fight for me ' fool me'.

After 3 months of his new relationship my mom & dad got a new & better jobs here so we moved here the next year. That's pretty much it." I concluded.

All the four of them were looking at me with mouth hang open. The situation is so funny that I would have laughed to death if I wasn't to occupied with my past memories.
