*At Dalton Academy*

Thad: Hey Blaine, are you crying?

Blaine: NO! I NEVER cry!

He quickly ran to his dorm. He slammed his door and locked it. Thad softly knocked on the door.

Thad: Are you okay?

Thad could hear sobs through the door, he was getting worried.

Blaine: Does it sound like I'm okay?

Thad: Well-

Blaine: No I'm not okay, Sherlock!

Thad: Do you want to talk about it?

Blaine: What do you think??!!?!

Thad: I just wanted to help. I'm worried about you. I'll leave you alone if you want..

There was a moment of silence, then Thad heard footsteps and the door opened.

Thad gasped, he had never seen Blaine like this. Blaine had dark circles around his eyes, his nose was redder than a rose, his face had all the color drained out of it, and he had a noticeable lump in his throat.

Thad: Blaine, I-

Blaine: I don't care say it. I know I look like shit.

Thad: Well, I can't deny that...

Blaine glared at him. He put his hands up in surrender.

Blaine: Talk

Thad: What exactly happened?

Blaine took a deep breath and rethought if he should tell Thad. On one hand, Thad was always there for him. He would never tell anyone what they talked about, it always stayed between them. But on the other hand, what happened was really personal. Blaine decided to tell him. Because that's what friends do, right?

Blaine: I-I- it's about K-kurt.

He got tears in his eyes at the sound of Kurt's name. Thad's eyes widened.

Thad: You didn't, like kill him or anything, right??

Blaine glared at him with angry eyes, but Thad saw right through them and saw the sadness that lay beneath it.

Thad: Sorry, that was a stupid question.

Blaine: From a stupid person.

Blaine tried to keep his voice firm, but anyone with ears could tell he was breaking.

Thad: Oh, Blaine...

Thad went over to him and hugged him. Blaine lost it at the touch of arms wrapping around him. Although it felt nice, he wished Kurt was holding him instead of Thad.

"H'shh, it's alright. Let it all out." Thad said softly.

About half an hour later, Blaine ran out of tears.

Thad: Okay, so are you ready to talk about it?

Blaine blew his nose into a tissue. It sounded like an elephant's trunk. He nodded. He took a deep breath and told Thad everything.

When he was finished, he fell onto his bed with exhaustion.

Thad: Wow.. Umm... Blaine, I-

Blaine: It's fine you don't have to say anything. I just appreciate you listening.

Thad lied on the bed next to Blaine.

Thad: I have no idea what to say.. It's so unfair, everything bad happens to you!

Blaine shrugged.

Blaine: Life's unfair.

Thad gave a small nod in agreement.

Blaine: Can you do something for me?

Thad: Yes, of course.

Blaine: Can you stay the night? I don't want to be alone tonight..

Thad: Sure, absolutely.

Blaine: Thank you..

Thad nodded with a slight smile. Blaine gave a sad smile in return. Even though he appreciated the favor, it just hurted to smile.
