But everything wasn't okay...

Kurt woke up with a groan, unaware of where he was. It took him a moment and the memories came flooding back. He knew that he had to forget about Blaine. But it's going to be hard since he had school today.

"Least it's Friday..." he mumbled as he pushed himself off of Rachel's bed to get ready. He'd packed an outfit for school so he wouldn't have to go back home.

"Home... Shit... I need to call Dad." He called Burt and explained that something came up and he spent the night at Rachel's. Burt was angry at first but he could hear the depression in his voice and just told him not to do that again. Kurt told his father that he promised and hung up. He huffed and said, "This is going to be a long day...."

He finished changing and moisturizing in Rachel's bathroom and woke her up. She put on the outfit Kurt put together for her last night and went downstairs to eat breakfast.

"You coming?" She asked from the bottom of the stairs. He thought for a second and said yes. Why should he suffer and cry over someone who hurt him? But his heart thought differently, 'Because you care......' He shook his head and whispered, "No I don't..." even though he did....a lot.

"Blaine?" Thad asked when he awakened. Blaine looked terrible. He had dark circles under his eyes, messy and tangled curls, and you could see the dried tears on his face.

"Yes?" Blaine whispered quietly.

"You okay? You don't look so well," he replied.

"You don't say?" He said with usually tone of sarcasm, although he still frowned. He sighed and said, "I didn't sleep, Thad. Not even for a minute. I can't. Every time I do...I-I see him! Do you know how it feels to hurt the one you love?!?!! Huh? Do you?! I just can't do this anymore." He looked like he was going to start crying again, but instead he climbed out the window.

"BLAINE!! WHAT THE HELL ARE YOU DOING??? YOU COULD OF DIED!!!" Thad shouted out the window. Blaine, miraculously, landed on the windowsill of the 4 story building.

"I just need some time alone! Cover for me? Or don't, I don't really care. But promise not to tell anyone about this!" And with that he slide down the ladder attached to the balcony on the 4th story. He ran off pass the class buildings and the other dorms, all the way to his "hideout". No one he knew, knew about this place. You'd have to jump the fence, run pass the Pine trees until you see a really big Redwood tree, then you walk for about 5 minutes to the right of the tree. Once you see a little stream and a broken tree, cross it. Walk for about a minute until you see a lot of leaves, push them out of the way and you're there. His hideout has this really cool, huge lake with a small lodge that nobody uses; sometimes he just goes in there and lies down. He also leaves his back-up guitar and mini keyboard in there when he feels like singing.

He picked up his guitar and wondered what to sing. For a reason, memories of his dad came to mind. He knew just the song.
