"Yeah, umm hi," Blaine responded getting a sheepish grin.
"You might as well come in," Blake said with a sigh. Blaine went into the lodge and sat down on the maroon couch. "What are you doing here?"
"Well this is my hideout for when-" Blaine started.
"Wait, what?" Blake asked, "This is my hideout. I've gone here ever since my mom..." she trailed off.
"Ever since what?" Blaine couldn't help but question.
Blake stared at Blaine, debating whether to tell him or not. She finally sighed and began,"It all started when I was 11. My mom and dad used to always fight, but this one night, it was different. She left him. They got a divorce, but both of them refuse to go. My dad because he didn't want it to happen, and my mom because she didn't want to see him. It happened either way. My dad kept on trying to get her back for months. She finally agreed one day, just so he'd get off her back. The date went great, I think they fell for each other again that night. My mom did have some alcohol so when she was driving home, she took the wrong road home. She got jumped and killed."
Blake sucked in a breath and didn't let it go; Blaine grabbed her hand and squeezed, a gesture to say 'It's okay, you don't have to continue' But she did.
"Ever since that happened, my dad...he-I never felt good enough for him. Like everything I ever did was another mistake. He never beat me or did anything like that. He just never was there for me. It was like he died too.
"I used to get bullied. Yeah, long story short, I tried to kill myself. But something made me stop, I don't know what it was. I burned the letter I wrote and just continued to let the bullying happen. A few years later my dad got a job here and we moved. When I got to my new school, everyone thought I was this bad girl. Fucking Sebastian stole all of my clothes, so I had to wear his. So I went with it, it was my protection, my shield, my mask. No one ever even asked me if the rumors were true, everyone just assumed it. Well, it didn't help that I drove into the school with a motorcycle without a license."
She gave a sad chuckle and continued, "I kept getting expelled from my schools, from fights, smoking, pranks, and many more. I swore I would never hurt anyone like that, but I guess I just cared about my walls than anyone else's feelings. Anyway, since I kept on getting expelled, my father finally took me to this school, where he could keep an eye on me. Although, it's kind of funny, he doesn't even give a fuck about me, he tries to control my life when he's not even in it!" She gave a sad laugh. She stood up and punched the wall. Blake just stood there, not moving, drawing in small breaths.
Blaine walked over to her and enveloped her in a hug. Tears slid down her face, but she was silent. After a while she said in a hoarse voice, "Can we just watch movies for the rest of the day? And skip classes?"
Blaine nodded and gave a small kiss on the top of her hair. They watched Tim Burton and Johnny Depp movies for the rest of the day.
Blake fell asleep on the couch, her head on Blaine's lap. Blaine eventually fell asleep too, with a lot on his mind.
The next day Blaine told her his story, not the full story, but just enough. (Reread what Blaine told Kurt if you're confused to what Blaine's story is) After, they decided to go back to school. When they showed up together, most of the guys gave them a curious stare. Blaine's arm was around Blake's waist in a protective way. He felt the need to protect her, plus she was still upset from yesterday. Although her face didn't show it, she had a poker face.
"Hey guys," Blaine greeted as they sat down in the lounge.
Blake didn't say anything she just laid her head on his shoulder.
"What no insult today? Amazing the bitch finally has no comebacks!" David said.
Blake sniffled, blinked back a couple of tears, and hid her face behind Blaine's neck, not wanting anyone to see her cry. Blaine gently stroke her hair and glaring at David.
David's expression changed to worriness, even though he doesn't like her, David has a tendency to care, "Is she okay?"
Blaine gave him a look that said, 'Are you fucking kidding me?'
Blake whispered something into his ear and Blaine laughed.
"What?" David asked.
"Nothing nothing, she just said, 'I bet he would make a great prostitute with that big mouth of his,'" Blaine answered.
"And to think I cared!" David stated and left.
Jeff was just staring at them, with a mix of jealousy.
