THE LITTLE SISTER

CHAPTER 1

VIOLET P.O.V

“Beau! Leave me alone!” I yelled. You would think he would have moved out since he was twenty but no! He was still living at home. Jai and Luke came into the room to see what was happening. Once they saw Beau messing with me, they did too. You might have guessed by now, The Brooks brothers from the Janoskians, are my brothers. I’m the youngest out of all us only being sixteen. Beau was twenty and Jai and Luke were both eighteen. “Mum!” I yelled.

“Violet! Stop yelling!” I heard her say to me. So I wasn’t the favorite kid. I was used to it. My brothers made more money than I ever will. They were just as popular than I am at school. Being their brother gets you known. Sometimes I wish I had gone to live with my dad when he left us, but I knew I wasn’t wanted there either. Of course my brothers cared about me, they would never let anything happen to me but my mom was a whole other story.

“Luke, Jai and Beau. I’m trying to get my homework done can you please leave me alone?” I asked them. They all stopped and went on their way. The doorbell rang a few minutes later and I got up to answer it. “Oh hey James.” I said as I stood to the side to let him in.

“Hey Violet.” He said. I was doing a project with a boy from school and he would be coming over soon to help me with it. I just hope the boys were gone by then.

“Bye Violet! Should be back by midnight.” I was used to my brothers coming home late at night. I hated that they left me home alone with my mothers but I guess its fine because I will be leaving in a few years for college. I just finished my math homework when the doorbell rang. I went to answer it.

“Hey Ry.” I said. Ryan went to my school. We were pretty good friends I would say. Our parents knew each other well.

“Hey Violet.” He said. I let him in the house were we went into my living room. “Are your brothers home?” He asked looking around.

“No. They left a few minutes before you got here.” I said. I pulled out the things we needed to do our project.

“How are we gonna set this up?” He asked me. To be honest I had no idea. We had to do a poster of our lives. For the first thing. Then as it went on we had to decide an age where we got pregnant and had a baby. Next week during class we would be getting fake babies to practice on for two months. 

“Not sure.” I said. “Its gonna be hard taking care of a baby.” I added.

“I know. I think we will be fine though.” He said looking at me. We mostly finished the project. I rushed him out of the house when my mom stumbled down the stairs drunk. I called Jai and told him. Jai was the sweet sensitive one. He cared the most about me and we were closer. Luke was the player but he had a sweet side that anyone could fall for. Just like his girlfriend, Hayden. Hayden was the most beautiful person at our school. How she ended up with Luke? No idea. Beau is the very out going brother. He would do anything for anyone and when my mom gets drunk and I am home with her he gets very mad.

“Violet! Go buy me beer!” She yelled at me.

“Mom. I can’t. I’m not old enough yet.” I said as I packed my bag and cleaned off the table from what we were working on. She grabbed me. The boys came through the door just as she had me by the hair about to hit me.

“MOM!” Jai yelled at her. Luke got my hair out of the grip hold she had on me. I cried into his arms. I was scared. My mom had hit me before but she never gripped me by the hair and was gonna punch me. She had hit me a few times already in the face and I had a black eye.
