Ginny's POV
I was sitting on my bed, reading a book when Harry knocked on the door and walked in with his hands over his eyes. I laughed when he waked into my dressing table.
"OW! Ginny, you decent?" He asked.
"Yep, I am," I answered, still smiling.
"OK. Come with me!" He exclaimed as he in covered his eyes and took my hand in his. When we reached the door, he stopped and blindfolded me.
"Ah! Harry! What are you doing?" I exclaimed.
"It's a surprise! I can't tell you," he answered, guiding me out the door.

"OK... Stop," Harry said, letting go of my shoulders. He took the blindfold off of me and I opened my eyes. We were standing by the pond, and he had set out a picnic. The sun set was reflected in the pond.
"Aw! Harry, its lovely! What's it for?" I asked, smiling.
"Oh, not much in particular. It's just, as we are going back to Hogwarts, we won't have as much time together," He answered as I sat down on the blanket. He took a seat and offered me a drink.
"What would you like?" he asked.
"Oh, just water, please," I answer.
"You sure? We've got butterbeer," Harry told me lifting up a bottle.
"Oh, cool. I'll have that then, please," I say. He pour a glass out and hands it to me.
"Thank you," I say, taking a sip of the comforting drink. I sigh, and look at Harry. I smile as I study his face, his emerald green eyes, his round glasses, his jet black hair and his famous jagged lightning scar.
"So... Back to Hogwarts. You excited?" Harry asks me.
"Uh, yeah. I guess. I'm just worried it will bring back to many memories," I answered, giving a weak smile. Harry took my hand in his comfortingly.
"It'll bring memories back to all of us Gin',"
"Yeah, I know. I'm just going to focus on the present, and try not to think about it," I say.
"Me too. I can't help but feel responsible for everything... All of the deaths, the damage, the pain..." Harry says.
"Harry Potter! How many times? It wasn't your fault! People chose to fight for what was right. All those people: Remus, Tonks, Fred, Lavender. They mad a choice. We all did. And death was a risk we all took. Anyway, this is lovely, isn't it?" I say, changing the subject quickly.
"Yes. It is," he replies, smiling.
"I've been thinking, about school, and I decided not to go back for my 6th year. I'm just going to complete the 7th year. Then I can get on with my life and not have to worry so much," I say. Harry looked shocked at first but then he smiled at me.
"Oh, ok. That's great. Are you sure? Won't you, you know, miss any friends from your year?" He asked me.
"Yeah, I'm sure. I've already owned Professor  McGonagall and, no I won't miss them because most of my friends are in your year and Luna is doing the same as me," I reply. It wasn't totally true, because I did have some friends in Gryffindor, too, but they had been acting... Well, to be honest, rude. They hardly ever talked to me and when they did it was a criticism or a horrible sarcastic comment. I could see them talking about me, too. They were the worst at subtlety. I just figured I shouldn't be friends with people like that so I just stopped hanging around with them. I don't really care. They weren't really my close friends anyway.
"Right. I look forward to being in the same year as you, then!" Harry exclaimed, snapping me out of my train of thoughts, as he learned over an kissed my cheek. I smiled at him.
"Yeah, it'll be nice," I say, smiling back at him.

A/N
Sorry, this chapter is really bad. I needed to post something from the Harry Potter fandom so I just wrote a filler chapter because I had nothing to write about for it, so I made it a chapter focusing on Hinny.
