Piper's POV
Ugh. Why are mornings so horrible? I mean, I was perfectly happy sleeping until SOMEBODY *cough cough* Thalia *cough cough*, decided to pull open the curtains, letting in blinding rays of sunlight. I groaned and pull the covers over my face.
"Wakey, wakey, girls. It's Saturday morning!" She exclaimed.
"Thalia... It's too early and we've had a long week at school. We need rest!" I complain.
"Exactly..." Calypso agrees sleepily.
"Yeah. It's way early! It's the weekend!" Reyna adds.
"C'mon, guys. It's the quidditch trials!" Annabeth says, getting up.
"I am not trying out! Why do I need to go?" I ask, grumpily.
"Oh, maybe because your boyfriend is trying out?" Thalia suggests.
"He's your brother, too," I moan.
"I know. Which is why I'm going to watch," Thalia said, smirking.
"Fine. I'll get up. A long as we can go to the kitchen and get some hot chocalate," I say, thinking about the hot chocolate, smiling slightly. I slowly get of bed, grab some warm clothes and change. No, I did not wear any make up. Just because I am a daughter of Aphrodite downy mean I have to wear make up and be all girly, despite what Drew thinks. Ugh... Drew... I hate her. Hate. She still seems to think Jason likes her. Well, she did, before we left. But, of course, Jason wasn't impressed by her awful flirting, though sometimes he doesn't seem to realise. I used charmspeak to tell her to back off... Luckily it works but she keeps coming back...
Honestly, I thought shed actually listen to me when I became head councillor of the cabin. But, no. It didn't last long. Anyway. Let's get those thoughts out of my mind. I don't need her ruining my day when she's not even here, for Hera's sake. Ugh... Hera. Nope! Not going down that path!

Once we were all finally ready, we walked down into the common room, where everyone else was already waiting. Greeted each other, and I leant up and gave Jason a kiss.
"Morning, Sparky," I say, smiling at him.
"Morning, Beauty Queen," he replied, grinning down at me. As much as I didn't like the nickname, I smiled back at him. I had long given up on protesting about the nickname, when I realised that there was no point.
"Ahem... We should get to breakfast..." Reyna said awkwardly as all of the couples greeted each other. Nico was standing in a dark corner, as per usual.
"Yeah, c'mon," Ginny agrees. We make our way to the great hall, chattering cheerfully amongst ourselves. Jason slipped his hand into mine as we walked along.

After breakfast, everyone trying out went off to get ready. I said goodbye to Jason, wishing him good luck, before they walked off. I knew he would do well, being a demigod of Jupiter and all.
"Well, I need my hot chocolate!" I exclaim, once they were all gone.
"Yeah. Let's go to the dam kitchen," Thalia said, eyeing Percy with a mischievous grin. They both burst into uncontrollable fits of laughter.
"Yeah... I need my dam hot chocolate!" Percy added.
"And I need a dam snack!" Thalia says though her laughter.  We all just stand, confused, as Thalia and Percy laugh, gasping for breath.
"Uhh... What's funny?" Hermione asks.
"Beats me," I reply, confused.
"Inside joke... Don't worry about it," Thalia said, giggling.
"Um... OK..." I said. "Let's go," I add, thinking about the hot chocolate the house elves make, which is absolutely the BEST! It's completely delicious...

We walk to the quidditch stands, led by Hermione, as we hadn't been there yet, so didn't know the way. I shiver in the freezing cold weather and sip the hot chocolate. When we got there, we climbed the staid up to the seats. We could get front row seats as it was only the trials, so not many people showed up. Besides, it was only for the Gryffindor team. I look down at the pitch. It was oval, and separated in half. In the centre, there was a circle. At each end, there was a section of sand. There were three hoops which were at different heights in each area of sand. Standing in the centre, there was everyone trying out. My eyes immediately fly to Jason. I smile at the sight of him. Part of me wanted to run down to the pitch and kiss him... Ack! Get out of my head, Mum! Stupid Aphrodite thoughts...
I ponder whether it is fair for him to be in a quidditch team, as he has such an advantage in the sky, being a son of Jupiter and all. But, I'm sure he won't cheat by, like, controlling the winds, or something. They don't know that, so it's fine. If they did, I don't think he'd be allowed. Oh well...
