Hermione's POV
I woke up at eight, and jumped out of bed, remembering that we were going to Diagon Alley today. I giggle when I see Ginny sprawled across her bed still sound asleep, her mouth open as she snored quietly. Quickly I picked out a set of clothes and rushed to the bathroom. I showered, cleaned my teeth and got dressed, then brushed my hair. I put on a small amount of the subtle make up that Ginny had given me. When I got back to Ginny's room, I woke her up and told her if she wanted to use the bathroom before the boys, she'd better get up now. She shot up, got her clothes and sprinted to the bathroom. I laugh when I hear Ron yell "OW!" I'm guessing he had the bathroom door slammed in his face. I walk downstairs, and as I pass the bathroom, I see Ron waiting.
"You're up early," I say smiling. "You're usually one of the last up,"
"I would've been, if I had been able to get back to sleep. I had a nightmare," he tells me.
"Oh. Was it bad?" I ask, sitting on the floor next to him.
"Worst one so far," Ron answers, taking my hand.
"What happened?" I ask curiously.
"Well, we were back in Malfoy Manor, and ... I could hear your screaming as Bellatrix tortured you, and I couldn't get to you," He begun, stuttering slightly. I squeezed his hand to let him know I was right there with him. "By the time we got out, it was- it was too late. She had- she had killed you. I had lost you forever..." He finished. I took a deep breath, trying to put a barrier up in my mind to stop all the memories from rushing back.
"It's OK, Ron. I'm right here." I say, calmly.
"I know. It's just, what if..." He says.
"Don't think about it. Just think about now, the war is over and we're together," I reassure him. He leans in to kiss me, but I put my hand in front of his face.
"Not now, Ron. Your breath stinks," I say. "Plus, all of your family could see, kiss me later when we're in private and you have cleaned your teeth,"
"I don't care if they see. They know we're together," he pouts. Ginny walks out of the bathroom and grins at us.
"Go get ready. I'll meet you downstairs for breakfast," I say, patting his lap as I stand up.
"See you later, 'Mione," he says as he shuts the bathroom door behind him.

I stand stand, waiting for my turn to floo to Diagon Alley. I watch as Ron is engulfed in green flames.
"Hermione, dear, you're up," Mrs Weasley tells me. I step into the fireplace and take a handful of floo powder.
"Diagon Alley," I say, clearly. I feel the familiar sensation as the bright green flames wash over me. I squeeze my eyes shut tight as I go through the floo network. I feel like I am being squeezed through a small pipe. I land an solid ground, and I wobble slightly, before opening my eyes and seeing Ron standing there smiling at me. He takes my hand and helps me out of the fireplace.
"Thanks," I say, brushing myself off with my free hand.
"Ready to go? Mum said we didn't have to wait for them today," Ron says.
"Yeah, let's go," I answer.

"Where next?" To asks, looking at the list. "So... We still need new robes," he finished, whilst studying the list of supplies.
"Right. OK, then, lets go," I say, taking his free hand in mine as we start walking.

As we stand, getting our new robes fitted, I stare out of the window. I watch as the crowds of people hurriedly bustle about, getting their shopping. Excited children run around, laughing as they get supplies for their first year at Hogwarts. I smile, remembering how excited I had been when I had received my Hogwarts letter. I think about all of our years at Hogwarts, and I can't help but feel sad as think about this being out last year there. Ever.

The lady measuring the new robes on me smiled as she finished an helped me off of the pedestal I was standing on. She walked to the counter and I paid, thanking her. Ron soon came down too, and paid, grumbling about how he thought that it cost too much. I gently slapped his arm, causing him to smile and thank the lady. As we walked out of the shop, I scolded him for being rude.
"Ronald, please don't say that they are charging too much whilst paying! If you want to moan about prices then wait until we aren't in the shop!"
"Sorry, I just think they're charging too much. You know I don't have much money, Hermione," he replied.
"Yes, well, you shouldn't do it I font of them!" I countered.
"I know. Sorry, 'Mione," he said, kissing my cheek, making me blush.
"We still need books," I say, changing the subject.
"Yeah, I knew you'd say that. C'mon, lets go to get them, then," he says, walking towards Flourish and Blotts.

The familiar bell rang as we walked into the shop. I smiled as I looked at the shelves upon shelves of books. I placed my bags on the floor by the counter and told Ron to stand by them as I got the books. I walked thorough the shops, picking out all if the books needed, getting two of each, one for Ron and one for me. Soon, I had to put the pile of books by Ron, as they were becoming heavy, before darting back off to get more books. I picked up all of the books that we would need for school, but carried on looking though the shelves, picking out books that seemed interesting.
"Can we pay and go, now, 'Mione? We've been in here for at least forty-five minutes," Ron moaned.
"Just a bit longer, I'm nearly done," I called back. When I was satisfied with how many books we had, I went to the counter and paid.
"Thank you," I said to the man behind the counter as he put the books into bags. Ron thanked him too, as he took his bag of books. I smiled as we walked out of the shop, pleased with the books I had bought.

After buying all of our supplies, we went to Florean Fortescue's Ice Cream Parlour. I ordered a raspberry sorbet an Ron had a chocolate ice cream. We sat outside on a bench, eating.
"What should we do now?" Ron asked me when we had both finished.
"Why don't we go back to the Burrow?" I suggest. "We have everything we need, now,"
"Yeah, c'mon, let's go," he said. I took his hand in mine as we stood up and apparated back.

Later, we sat in the burrow living room, with everyone else back. I sat in Ron's arms, on the sofa, reading one of my new books. Harry and Ginny were deep in conversation, whilst snuggled on the armchair. I could hear Mr. And Mrs. Weasley in the kitchen, talking and laughing. I didn't know where everyone else was, but I concentrated on reading my book. Ron kissed the top of my head, making me smile. Soon, Mrs. Weasley called us for dinner, and I smiled, smelling the scent of food coming from the kitchen.
