Chapter Sixteen: Sleepover

Hazel's POV
It was finally the weekend, and today, we had our sleepover in the Room of Requirement. I was currently finishing off packing a small bag with a spare change of clothes, pyjamas and toothbrush and toothpaste. I checked for the last time, before zipping it shut and sitting on my bed.
"What do you think we'll be doing?" I ask, to no one in particular.
"Just sleepover stuff... You know, games, that kinda thing," Piper replies.
"Have you never been to a sleepover before?" She asks, curiously. I shake my head in reply.
"Seriously?" Annabeth asks me.
"No... In my previous life, I didn't really have any friends, I only had Sammy, and my mother wasn't really the kind of person who allowed sleepovers to begin with. Then, in this life, I came to Camp Jupiter, so we didn't really do that," I explain.
"Oh," Piper says.
"Well, it's not too bad, I don't feel like I'm missing out," I say, smiling.
"Well, I assure you, you will enjoy it," Thalia says, smiling.

We sit in the common room, waiting for Ginny and Hermione to come down.
"When do you think they'll be down?" Calypso asks, curiously.
"Soon... Hopefully..." Thalia replies.
"Hey... Did Luna say she could come?" I ask.
"Yeah. She's meeting us there. We said we'd be there in... Seven minutes, so they'd better hurry up," Reyna replies.
"OK," I say in reply.

A few minutes later, Ginny and Hermione come running down the stairs.
"Sorry, sorry! We lost track of time!" Hermione exclaims. We shoot up, ready to leave.
"How long do we have?" Ginny asks.
"Um... Three and a half minutes," Reyna replies as we jump out of the entrance to the common room. We run the rest of the way, laughing, as we bump into each other or nearly fall over, saying that we're going to be late.

We arrive out of breath, but I notice that there is no door. Hermione walks over to a wall. I stare in surprise when a door forms on the wall. I am never going to get over how cool all the magic is here.
"Here we go," Ginny says, walking over and opening the door. We all walk inside and find ourselves in a comfortable room, with chairs and sofas and a burning fire in a small fireplace. Luna is already there, with a pair of odd looking glasses on, looking around the room.
"Oh! Hello!" She says, taking off the glasses. We all take a seat somewhere in the room. I sit between Piper and Reyna on the sofa. After A few seconds of silence, we start laughing.
"Soo... What do we do now?" Calypso asks, still giggling.
"Play truth or dare?" Hermione suggests. We all nod in agreement. "OK, but we all need to drink some of this potion," she says, hiding up a large vial.
"Uh... What is it?" Piper asks.
"Veritaserum," she replies. Ginny stares.
"Hermione... How did you get hold of that?" She asks.
"I made it," she replies.
"But... It's restr-" Ginny starts to say, but is interrupted.
"It's fine, Ginny," she says.
"What does it do?" I ask, curiously. I certainly was not going to drink a potion which I didn't know about. Yeah, we were friends with Hermione but we've only known each other for just over two weeks and I didn't want to risk anything.
"It's a truth potion. We only need a few drops each," Hermione answers. She takes a sip, before handing it on.

After we had all taken a sip of the potion, we decided that Hermione should start, as it was her idea.
"Umm... Annabeth. Truth or dare?" She asks, looking her in the eye.
"Erm... Truth," Annabeth replies.
"What is your biggest fear?" Hermione asks.
"Spiders," Annabeth replies. "OK, my turn. Ginny, truth or dare?" She asks, grinning.
"Dare," Ginny replies.
"I dare you to sneak out and get us some snacks," Annabeth says, smirking.
"But... It's past curfew," Ginny protests.
"That's the point. You can bring someone with you, if you want," Annabeth adds, an evil grin on her face.
"OK. I'll bring..." Ginny says, looking at each of us. "Thalia," she decides finally.
"OK," Thalia says, standing up and grinning. I watch as they walk over to the for and walk out, slowly.

About ten minutes later, they return, arms full of food, laughing.
"How'd it go?" I ask.
"Great!" Thalia replies, dropping all of the food which she held in her arms onto the floor. Ginny does the same and they both sit down, still laughing.
"Did you get caught?" Calypso asks.
"Yep," Ginny says, giggling.
"Did you get told off?" Reyna asks.
"Not really. It was Professor Burgess. She told us that she'd let us go but didn't want to see us out of bed after curfew again," Thalia answers.
"OK, so it's Ginnys turn now," Hermione says.
"Oh, yeah... Err... Reyna, truth or dare?" Ginny questions.
"Umm... Truth," Reyna says.
"Who is your crush?" Ginny asks, grinning.
"I don't have one," Reyna replies.
"Oh. I wanted to set you up with someone," Ginny says pouting.
"I don't really want that, to be honest. I'm fine," Reyna says, smiling. "I mean, maybe one day. But I'm fine right now. Anyway, Hermione. Truth or dare?" She asks.
"Truth," Hermione replies.
"Who was your first kiss?" Reyna questions.
"Ummm... Viktor Krum," Hermione replies, blushing.
"WHAT?!?!" Ginny exclaims. "YOU NEVER TOLD ME!" She says, squealing.
"Sorry... It didn't really count, anyway. It was just a peck," she defended. "My turn, now. Calypso, truth or dare?" She asks, changing the subject.
"Umm... I'm gonna go with... Dare?" Calypso replies, unsure.
"OK... I dare you to drink a concoction of different things that we have here. You don't get to know what is in it and we make it for you. You need to drink the whole cupful," Hermione says, smirking. "OK, so, you stay here while we mix it for you," Hermione adds. We all stand up, leaving Calypso sitting on the sofa.
