Ron's POV
It had been several weeks since going t Diagon Alley, and September the first was approaching us at a rapid speed. I had mixed fillings about returning to Hogwarts; excitement, anxiety, nervousness, fright and joy. And, of course, curiosity, because this year, our final year at Hogwarts, we would be having exchange students visiting from America. I wondered what they would be like, if we would get along, or become enemies.

Anyhow, as we only had a short amount of time left before our return to Hogwarts, we were all packing our stuff into our trunks. I walked aimlessly around my room as I tried to focus on packing, but failed, whilst Harry scurried about, gathering his stuff and packed it. I, being the lazy person I am, gave up and lay on my bed, earning a glare from Harry.
"You going to pack, or what?" He asked.
"Just taking a break, mate. Calm down," I say, closing my eyes.
"If I I'm correct, you haven't started yet," he retorts. He walks over to the foot of my bed and looks in the trunk.
"Yep! You have one, very empty trunk!" He confirmed.
"Yeah, yeah. Whatever..." I say, almost falling asleep. Harry, being the just amazing best friend he is, was obviously not pleased by this, as I am brought to my senses, as I hear hays say,
"Aguamenti," I sit up straight, realising what he was doing, but I was all to late, as a jet of water shot out of the tip of his wand and soaked me.
"Harry! What the hell, mate?" I say angrily.
"You're meant to be packing," he reminds me, once again. "If you don't hurry up, I will get Ginny to do the bat-bogey hex on you," he warned. I groaned.
"But, Haaarrrrrryyyyyyyy..." I complain.
"Get a move on!" He exclaims.
"Yes, dad," I say sarcastically, earning yet another glare from Harry before he goes back to his own packing. I reluctantly stand up and walk over to my wardrobe to start my packing.

Half an hour later, I was making progress in my packing, albeit very slowly. Harry, who had now finished with his packing, was sitting on his bed, reading. I, still being upset with him for making me pack, was sulking, by avoiding his gaze. Although, I don't think he knew, as he was too busy reading. Merlin, he's turning into Hermione!

I slowly walked around my room, picking what to take to Hogwarts with me. Currently, I was choosing my weekend clothes. I had already packed robes and the rest of the uniform. However, I still needed to pack all the equipment. Yay. Note the piles of sarcasm I put into that. Hmm... I don't think piles is the right word. It is a bit of an understatement. Heaps? Mountains? A tsunami? I seem to be going off topic here.

As I put a pile of clothes into the trunk, Hermione and Ginny walked into the room. Harry looked up from his book and smiled, put a bookmark in the book and put it down. Ginny walked over and snuggled up to him. Hermione gave me a quick kiss and went onto sit on my bed, but quickly jumped back up.
"Ron! Why is your be soaked?" She exclaimed.
"Ask him." I reply, pointing at Harry, whilst scowling.
"Oh, Harry. What did you do?" She asks with a sigh.
"He want packing. He was lying down in bed and was about to fall asleep. He left me no choice. I regret nothing," he explains. Hermione tuts at him before using a charm to dry it off. She sits down and looks at me. Then, realises that I am still packing.
"You're still packing? Ron, Ginny and I finished ages ago!" She exclaims.
"Yes, I am still packing. I was tired and I have a lot on my mind," I protest.
"Like what?" Ginny asks.
"Um... Going back to Hogwarts... Other things, too," I say as my mind goes blank.
"Other things, such as...?" Harry questions.
"Uhhh... Exchange students?" I say.
"That was a question," Ginny said.
"Hey! There is other stuff!" I retort.
"Like?" Hermione asks.
"Ugh, you too? You're not taking my side?" I moan, as I take a seat on the bed next to her.
"Nope," she replied.
"But you're my girlfriend!" I exclaim.
"Correct," she states.
"But you're not taking my side!" I add.
"Correct, again," Hermione says, a smile playing at the corner of her lips, which I find oddly cute.
"Why?" I ask.
"Don't feel like it," she replies. I hear my door click an we both look to see that Harry and Ginny have left.
"Oh. Bye then," I say to the closed door, causing Hermione to start laughing. I smile at her and give her a kiss before returning to my packing.
"Here. Let me help," Hermione said. Ah go up and walked over. When she saw my trunk, she gave my a displeased look. "This is not organised, in any way, whatsoever," she says.
"So?" I ask.
"So, you won't be able to find what you need!" She exclaims. "I'll organise it, you gather up everything else you need," she said.
"Alright," I say, before going to get all of my Hogwarts equipment.

After ten minutes, we finish packing my trunk.
"There. All set, for the last year at Hogwarts," Hermione said, sadly, as I closed the trunk. I sat down next to her, and put my arm around her.
"It may be our last year, but, I assure you it will be amazing," I say. She looked at me and smiled.
"You don't know that, Ronald," she said.
"Yes, I do. The war is over, 'Mione. It'll be great. I know it," I smile.
"If you say so," she said, before waning up and kissing me. I kissed her back, but it only larded a few seconds before she pulled away. "We should, um, probably go downstairs now. Harry and Ginny will be wondering where we are," she said. She looked slightly flustered which I thought was cute, just like her little smile, and everything else about her.
"OK. Let's go, 'Mione," I said, We stood up and walked down to the living room, hand in hand.
